This big boy arrived today, safe and sound! I’ve been wanting a Scugog from @homemadehorrors since I first saw them 4 or so years ago, so it was inevitable. He’s based off copper verdigris, and he’s appropriately shiny! And did I say big? His sweet face just kills me! They did a fantastic job on him, like everything else they create!

I’ve been so busy painting this week I almost missed this! So glad he got there safe and sound! This paint job was a blast - I definitely want to try some other critters in a copper verdigris scheme now. Thank you for giving us a chance to experiment!

Fleet of foot and swift winged, with both lapine and avian features they might be full of tricks, but if charmed make excellent familiars! They’re roughly a foot long (far longer if you stretch out those back legs), with a 13.5″ wingspan. They can sit, stand on two legs or four, scratch their ears, splay out or loaf-up like a proper bun. They’re fully articulated from toes to wings. Quite happy with how these sculpts worked out! I personally find rabbits a little unnerving, but I think these turned out rather cute, even for rabbits.  This witch-hare is available for sale in our shop wormsandbones.com

Honestly, they’re not even that hard to find if you know where to look (that business about using ‘fair maidens’ as bait? Baloney. Total baloney. You get much better results with a sack of whole oats). Not that we’re in the right hemisphere for those - or so we thought. Honestly I thought I was just feeding the squirrels. Turns out there MAY be a subspecies? These extraordinary equines are each handmade, and fully poseable. They may be a touch undersized for equestrian pursuits, but they’re easy on the feed bill and won’t cost you an arm and a leg to board out either!
