started playing Pokémon unbound recently.. after seeing the rival I HAD to draw him

And I thought hey this can fit the protagonist quartet (collective name for the male and female mcs and ace and jax)

I recently discovered Pokemon Unbound and I am *HOOKED.* I fucking love Ace. I don't wanna beat the elite four bc I heard that in the post game Ace leaves Frozen Heights to go to the battle frontier with his dad and I can't see him anymore:(

Also I have some OC ideas for the protag, would anyone care abt that?

so... recently, i had a revelation...

sometimes i feel like fern is like a pokespe-ified version of francis. i mean, his starter pokemon isn't one of the available starters and has probably met articuno in his childhood somehow and also has (awkward hand gesture) the childhood emotional trauma that seems to be universal amongst pksp protags or something. not to mention the, uh... accidental fear of fire he got from getting his memories mixed up with v1 protag's in the ruins of void when he got cubed. haha!

anyway. i think fern's pksp dexholder title would be the guardian. it fits with his father's title and the game's plot. there's no doubt that he holds strong feelings towards the region in which he lives — if not, perhaps he wouldn't have succeeded in saving it. i think this one fits a little less than the other two in terms of personality, but he makes up for it through his actions.

i wish i could explain fern lore in some concise way or another because there is A Lot of it and one day i will talk about him. someday the world will know about fern.

as it stands, ace would be the pursuer. i think this is pretty easy to grasp in name and reason, given his goals and his personality. ace has surely been chasing his parents for years — and all the way from hoenn, too. not to mention, even after he finds them, his title defense match speech is insane for implying he finished his gym challenge just to challenge fern. this guy chases with 150% effort i don't think there's a better title he can get fr.

...and our good friend jax is the learner. (i should also note that jax does not have a dex. log only gives them to ace and the player. justice for jax please.) i think jax goes more into hc territory here because i have so many thoughts about him, but his champion battle speech about himself getting stronger is so, so important... i can't imagine him as anything but the hardworking type. he's constantly learning and training and trying to become better; after all, he and fern drive each other higher. i can't think of a title more fitting for him.
