Arthur is probably terrible at tying his school uniform tie so Martin has to fix it up for him (Martin's uniform is all too big so he'd 'grow into it'). At lunch they like to sit on the school field & watch the ground crew at football practice!

This is so nice!

I love the idea of Arthur and Martin befriending and looking out for one another. Martin’s probably frustrated over the fact that he still hasn't ‘grown into’ his uniform but Arthur points out that it’s better than it being too small, like the one time Phil’s mum shrunk all his clothes. I hope eventually one of the other kids notices them and invites them to kick around the ball once practice is over. :)

I tried rly hard to care for the younger ones but I just... don't really? Maybe bc it reminds me that the trio etc are all married off w kids by their mid 20s idk

yeah and tbh i think that the younger ones re meant to really remind us of the older ones at their age in terms of situation, only happier, like they’re not worried about anything they’re just heading off to hogwarts being excited kids worrying about which houses they’re going to be in or whatever and it’s a cute sort of continuity but it just feels like nothing’s really changed apart from the absence of voldemort means that everything’s now ok and we can have a repeat performance where everything’s the same except happy? and i want things to be Different and Exciting and since we’ve never had a teddy and victoire i feel like they’re probably aware of stuff the littler ones aren’t, idk

and yeah the thing is that one of the key things we learn about fleur early on is that she would miss gabrielle more than anyone else in the world. she loves her sister so much - but gabrielle is like her, she knows how to be a big sister to gabrielle: show her things, help her with her hair and hold her hand, be proud of her every time she does something, demonstrate how to be fierce and beautiful

but ginny's older and she already knows how she wants to be, she's fierce and pretty and knows it, and she has a lot of brothers, she doesn't need any more role models or anyone to patronise her, she needs to be her own person and have people appreciate that and value what she can do and let her do stuff

but what i really want is fleur learning how to get on with ginny, realising ginny isn't as different to her as she thought, learning to love her fierce english sister as much as she loves her little french one

i want ginny being fleur's support when fleur's overwhelmed and helping her get on with all the weasleys and telling her embarrassing stories about when bill was little, and fleur showing ginny little tricky spells for stopping anyone harrassing you when something loud and flashy would get you into more trouble, and ginny teaching fleur the bat bogey hex and they practise it on bill and cant stop laughing, and when ginny writes to bill early in her sixth year (before they stop being able to send letters) it's often fleur who writes back,

frodo and sam, always. they’re like the epitome of (really gay) friendship

all of the amis with all of the amis (it doesn’t mean friends for nothing) but particularly joly/bossuet/musichetta plus r, and enjolras with everybody

teddy and victoire obviously, their friendship is one of the best and most powerful things ever, they love eachother so much that dumbledore would probably have made speeches about it

damn frick ok i’m cheating here and doing four bc i cannot leave out the marauders. james and peter and remus and sirius. ok we’re done here

Idk how to help at all but maybe find some calming videos to watch for a bit and then start looking at things when you're less panicked? ? Idk. but good luck with it and I hope everything gets a bit easier and that you feel better asap ♡♡

im feeling mostly calmer now?? im going to email tutors and then do the bibliography for my nonexistent essay and then give up for the day and do it whenever i can tomorrow i guess

breathe a little bit or at least try to. things are hard. learning and school are intrinsically frustrating. if you need someone to talk to you i'm here and if you've got a skype we can add each other and i can provide many much distractions

i am bad at having a hard time but i'm getting kind of better at it i think? anyway yes thank you so much, you are a good egg, probably the best egg
