Honestly I think WD was a pretty alright game. It doesn't deserve anywhere near the hate it gets. If you're just looking at it as a game, it was a pretty damn solid third person shooter. The only real disaster was the launch with how shit it ran on PC and capping the graphical options. But it was a pretty fun game, I don't know why you hate it so much.
I just found it uterrly boring for my tastes
I don't why but for my open world tastes, I really just prefer GTA (due to much more interesting characters) or any open world game where im allowed to wreck shit up like just cause
