Doctor AU -  Which one is the longsuffering doctor? Which one is the patient?

I want to preface this with the fact that Mouse should never become a doctor. I love him, but that is not a good career path for him. However. I’m also aware of who Jay is? And I think doctor!Mouse trying to deal with cranky, uncooperative, would rather be under fire than sit on that stupid paper on exam beds patient!Jay would be objectively hilarious.

College AU -  Who is the straight-A student, and who’s the backrow slacker?

Will isn’t quite a straight-A student because he’s working outside of class to pay for this education, so he’s definitely not slacking. Connor, on the other hand. It’s not that he doesn’t care, because he does! He wants this education and he wants this career separate from his family name, but he is a Spoiled Rich Boy™ especially in his younger years, and he’s used to getting everything handed to him. He’ll pass classes because his father made the right donations to the right departments, whereas Will will pass the classes because he’s putting the effort into it and later tutoring the slacker rich boy because it pays way better than waiting tables at the diner a block from campus

Fitz looked up as Bobbi came out of the bathroom, wrapped in her blanket still. He checked the clock on the wall and frowned.

“Not going to work?”

She shook her head, and said, “I’m having a hard time breathing today.”

He knew how hard admitting she needed to take time to herself was, so he stood up off the couch and crossed the living room to her. She wrapped him in the blanket and she hugged him. She was taller than him, which had never bothered him but he wished he was taller just this once so he could wrap her up in his arms and let her feel protected for once. Bobbi had a thing for men shorter than her, though, evidenced by her exes before him.

“I’ll call out of work, too. I’ve got some spare sick days anyway. We can watch Legally Blonde and Finding Nemo,” he said.

“Can we watch How It’s Made, actually?” she asked.

He tucked his head into her neck and let her do the same in return, carefully and methodically stroking through her hair.  

“Yeah, that sound great. We can do that.”

8) movies or TV shows: Well I love a good ol' movie, especially making a date with my friends and going to the cinema, but I love the character development and just general pace of TV series, you can spend more time with the characters and all, so I'll go with TV series?? I think? 😂 😂

21) obsession from childhood: uhhhh I have so many.... 😂

Film making/behind the scenes for movies and shows, anything and everything Percy jackson related, the ocean,.... 😂 😂.

27) favourite thing to do in cold weather: ummm that's actually easy. Lots of coffee and hot chocolate and popcorn and binge a series and cuddle with my besties like @maybebrilliant

Dani! (I really need to think of a way to open up these posts that isn’t just enthusiastic exclamation of a name but I cannot help it!!! Want to talk about friend!!!) I need that meme that’s like ‘she has the range’ because that is you to a T! You write so many amazing ships (including some of my faves, even if I am lightyears behind on reading, oops) and do moodboards and just - SHE HAS THE RANGE!!! Seeing you in my notes never fails to brighten my day and you seem like such a sweet person that I would love to get to know better :)

13, 16 & 19 for the fanfic asks!

13. Exes or established relationship?

I’m very much an established relationship person! ( @robotgort loves second chance romance!) I like playing around in a short fic with a couple (or moresome) that are already together and are simply enjoying life. It’s something that you don’t see much of in published fiction and a place fanfic really shines. You can write 2K of an established couple picking out curtains at target and people will read and love it. There’s no other genre outside of fanfic that has this level of enjoyment for a couple that’s already together. 

16.  Describe your WIP that currently has the highest word count.

*mumble mumble* 

Technically this is the Spuffy fic Heaven Sent at 66,134, but I’ve marked that as a permanent WIP. Maybe someday I’ll get those last three chapters done. 

Otherwise, it’s Take My Breath Away, my Top Gun, role-reversal, it’s the 1980s but with no homophobia, and the Navy is nearly all women wish-fulfillment fic. It’s sitting at 21K and I just need three more chapters, like 6K, to finish it. I got all stalled out because of covid hitting while I was writing it and it’s been almost impossible to dredge up the happy needed to get through those chapters. That fic comes from a really bright spot that’s been dim for most of a year now 😢I really want to finish it, when I can, because it’s a love letter to my younger self who didn’t grow up in a world that knew how to accept her. 

19.  What’s your favorite character headcanon?

Probably that Fitz is a boob guy. There’s zero in canon to suggest that. In season one he awkwardly makes the hand gesture while having trouble saying the word. My brain decided that was him not wanting to give away his deep, dark secret that he’s really, really into Jemma’s rack. It’s hilarious to me that I’ve now had someone tell me how “in character” I’m writing Fitz for making him like tits. Guys, that was my random headcanon 😂 And you will pry it out of my cold, dead hands now. *evil laughter*
