A little update (a little long so please bare with me)
I…….don’t think I can continue Pokémon Ultra Space, for several reasons.
I don’t like how it’s turning out. Whenever I look at a completed page I just think “Wow, this is garbage” especially when it comes to expressions and body types. It felt like I had to strictly follow the designs and way that I drew, to the point where I my art style went static and at some parts ugly. I still need to work out the kinks in my art style, to where I am happy with.
It’s gotten to ambitious for one person, so much so that I had to have a multi page document just to keep track of everything I wanted to do.
I lost the aforementioned document. (My family changed computers while writing it and I don’t think I’m allowed to use it).
My mind just jumps from story to story. It’s a little hard to put the pieces together when your brain comes up with more ideas then you can keep track.
Overall I’m just not motivated to continue it. I’m sorry for those who were interested. But that doesn’t mean that I’m done trying to make comics, oh on the contrary. I’m just wiping the slate clean.
So ladies, gentlemen, and all in between I would like to announce…….
A Cure For Perfection!
A comic that’s all about learning and adapting as I work. A comic that’ll change as I get better at drawing, where I can feel comfortable with making mistakes, change how I do something as I get advice and develop my skills. So if one part looks bad, then I can learn from it and improve instead of thinking that I just need to keep it like that. This will be interactive with the readers, where they can decide what the main characters do. Kinda like a choose your own adventure book or DND. Anything can and will happen (within reason, there are some things I’m uncomfortable with drawing) How it’ll work:
I’m going to give you all a location, scenario, and a “puppet” to control (can be from an already existing IP or a world I made up) and you all will decide how the characters react. This could be in the comments, reblogs, or just a pull with multiple options. Then I’ll roll a D 20 to see if it’s a good or bad outcome. Some chapters will connect with others while some might just be stand alones. I’m both doing this to get better at my art while also interacting with others (Something that I have trouble with both on and off).
Updates will be as completed so please bare with me.
But first, I’m going to test this out with a little artwork and at least get an idea of what I’m doing. More on that in my next post.
