It's been two months now since Saturnine's initial release. Did you get all the achievements you wanted already?

Cryptogastronomy (cook and eat a Mandrake) badge tip

If you pick up a medicinal root while clinging to a wall, it goes straight into an empty inventory slot without being in your hands, which if it's a mandrake means it won't activate and start screaming.

To tell if it is a mandrake you've picked up and not a medicinal root, look for the hands and face on the icon.

As long as you don't select the inventory slot it's in, it'll never start screaming, so you can carry it for as long as you wish.

"Start Party Hard"

Pretty self explanatory. If you're here, you likely already have this achievement.

Clubbed

"Play Party Hard 100 times"

Also pretty self explanatory.

Butcher

"Kill 1000 people"

If you do a complete playthrough of Party Hard, you should get this achievement pretty easily.

Wait, It Will Be Fun

"Use traps 50 times"

This one can also be easily obtained by simply playing through the game.

Garbage Collector

"Hide body 20 times"

Same goes for this one as the last two.

Blind

"Pass level without traps 3 times"

If you just play three parties with John, you'll get this easily enough.

Murderer

"Kill 5 people in a row"

Slayer

"Kill 10 people in a row"

These two aren't too hard to get, especially if you can use a smoke grenade or stun bomb.

Chase breakers

"Escape cops 5 times"

This one can be a bit difficult. I recommend the Ca$ino party for this one. Avoid using the shortcuts or spare clothes in the beginning, as cops get harder to evade the more you successfully evade them.

Lol, Really?

"Complete all achievements"

Pretty self explanatory.

Loser

"Lose level with 1 alive person"

I got this achievement on BBQ party, as it's the easiest party. I recommend beginning by playing normally, until you've killed all but two people. Be sure you don't forget the DJ. Once you get to that point, alert one of the people. The easiest way to do this is to carry a corpse to them. While they're calling the police, quickly kill the other person. You should get arrested, successfully unlocking this achievement.

Mmmaniac!

"Complete the game."

Easy enough.

Retribution

"Kill all robbers in Casino level"

This one can be a bit difficult if you don't know the timing. If you walk in while the robbers are, well, robbing, they will all flee too quickly to be killed. The trick is to come in while they're fighting with the bouncer, then just kill everyone.

Hey, Stop!

"Kill person who runs to call police 15 times"

This one is easy enough, you'll probably get it just playing the game. If not, Katie can be helpful for this achievement.

Unbowed

"Die 100 times"

This can be a bit tedious. There are a few simple ways to get this achievement. First, you could kill yourself repeatedly with traps. For this method, I recommend the fire at the BBQ party, as it doesn't require someone to activate it. Horses also work, though most of them are RNG. Alternatively, you could play as "Hinter" and hold the sprint button until death.

Catch me if you can

"Escape from cop"

Simple enough. Can be easily completed using shortcuts, or spare clothes. This achievement will likely be unlocked during a normal playthrough.

Hellhound

"Kill 15 people in a row"

The easiest way to do this is to use a smoke grenade in a crowd, then go wild. This achievement can also viably be obtained through the zombies at the miami party.

Ninja

"Complete level without found body"

I find this achievement easiest to unlock on BBQ party, as there are a lot of huge blindspots. It's a bit tedious, but you can camp on the far right, by the dumpster. You can easily kill people in the side alley and those who wander into the right part of the house, and quickly dispose of their corpses.

I'm sexy and i know it!

"Get your ass kicked for dance"

This doesn't happen incredibly often, but it's not too hard to get, either. Just dance in large crowds until you get your ass kicked.

Sweet dreams

"Kill 50 stunned persons"

No particular tips for this one. Just use a stun grenade and go wild.

Jokey

"Kill 50 persons with horse"

This one can be a bit difficult, due to RNG. However, if the horse spawns in BBQ party or campus party, it will be in a good position for kills.

Runner

"Complete level in 3 minutes"

This achievement is somewhat difficult to get in the base game. If you have the High Crimes DLC, though, this can be easily obtained. During the party, the timer will reset if you are killed during the boss. It isn't too difficult to kill him in under 3 minutes, I did it accidentally.

If you do not have the DLC, the bonus party with the eye monster can be quite helpful for this achievement.

Rider on the storm

"Kill 15 persons with one car"

This one is mostly just an achievement of opportunity. I recommend the biker party for this one.

Venomous rush

"Poison 100 people"

This isn't too difficult to get, just poison food a lot. It's up to RNG whether it appears, but the food is very accessible in BBQ party.

Cunning

"Complete level with FBI"

I recommend a party with a horse for this one, campus party in particular works well. Whether the zebra is there or not is up to RNG, so you may have to reload the party a few times. Begin by killing one person with the horse. Do not attempt to dispose of the body, or kill anyone else. Once a cop appears, they will try to cover the corpse. While they're doing this, kill them with the zebra. Wash, rinse, repeat. Once two cops have been killed, two FBI agents will appear. I recommend evading them at all costs, until they leave. You can also kill them with traps, if you please. Once you have done this, simply complete the level as normal, and you will unlock the achievement.

Shadow master

"Kill 30 people without alarm in one level"

You can just use the same guide for "Ninja" achievement as for with this one.

Notes:

you do not have to complete a party in order to keep an achievement.

you cannot unlock any achievements through party bus.

you cannot unlock "Cunning" through underground sick.

Finished Half-Life 2 and went back to play the Ravenholm chapter for Zombie Chopper (guide to this specifically under the cut since I got carried away). I thought I had screwed it up somehow because I didn't hear the Steam achievement chirp, but what I think actually happened was it triggered during the loading zone out of the mines and I just didn't get the UI alert, because it was recorded in the pause menu just fine. So yeah, after all these years I have finally 100%'d HL2.

Started Episode 1 and immediately forgot about the Pacifist achievement, so we're focusing on One Free Bullet and some of the kill-count challenges, then going back to clean the other ones up. Ain't no way I'm getting ALL those civvies out safely without proper firearms.

A semi-detailed guide to the Zombie Chopper achievement for those curious: My main strategy for the first half of the chapter is to hold onto at least 2 saw-blades for as long as possible. The convenient thing about them is you can stick them into some walls with the gravity gun, so you can "store" them places as you go along. (There's actually specific collision rules for wall materials! Brick, plaster, and wood walls will work for this; any concrete or stone-looking surfaces will not.)

So I tend to keep at least two blades (ideally 3 or 4 in case you lose track of them) on hand and bring them with me through loading zones by tossing them ahead of me and sticking them into various walls. If you know the route through the town, you can plant a few ahead and then catch up to them as you progress (eg. I stuck two in the wall near the window you have to reach above the plaza where you first see Father Grigori. You can grab them on your way into that building, they won't despawn as you clear a path up to the walkways.)

The second half of Ravenholm, where you meet the fast zombies, gets pretty chaotic. Since the map is sprawling, it becomes dangerous to try to retrieve your saw-blades as you might aggro other idling zombies. The first fast zombie is one you'll need to kill to keep it from chasing you. The others you can give the run-around. Once you get up to the rooftops and get the shotgun, you're in looping mode, like it or not.

You can skip the first elevator by just jumping down to the street, provided you have enough health to take the fall (and avoid the poison zombie!). From there you'll have to run the nightmare gauntlet to get indoors again. When waiting for the little tram that Grigori sends you, you can run a loop from that rooftop, jump down to a lower roof, run along a set of catwalks to get indoors, and wait until the tram is in place. (If the fast zombies get indoors, just keep running the loop, you're actually faster than they are here because of how they jump.)

The graveyard is probably the most difficult portion. While running from the fast zombies is harrowing, there's nothing to grab and throw in the very first stretch of the graveyard, and Grigori can die. You may end up kiting the first wave of fast zombies away from him while he picks them off, unless you're able to toss a couple objects to the landing spot of the tram. After this, though, there is stuff to toss around, you just need to be careful not to blow up Grigori (or yourself) with explosive barrels. You don't need to stay to hear his farewell, however, so once you kill the final poison zombie at the mausoleum, you can dip out as soon as he opens the gate.

The mines are simple enough to just sprint through, though I recommend grabbing and tossing a couple explosive barrels to potentially clear out a path. This segment relies on knowing exactly where to go and having enough health to take a few errant chomps on your way out. If you manage a clean drop to the catwalks, there's medkits there to top you off. The trapped minecart stretch is pretty self-explanatory. And then you're out! The achievement should pop up as you hit the loading zone into daylight.
