How to Unlock All Routes in To Eat a God (as of Act 2.5)

Choices that are inconsequential to unlocking the route will not be listed. Routes marked (Incomplete) have yet to have their conclusions added to the game and will be expanded on in future updates. This guide is written with the assumption that you're starting from the beginning of the game.

Nulla (Incomplete)

-> Ask what's going on. -> Look away. -> Do what they asked you. -> Introduce yourself as the player. -> Nulla…

Septem (Incomplete)

-> Ask what's going on. -> Look away. -> Do what they asked you. -> Introduce yourself. -> Septem… -> Wait until he speaks. -> Accept.

Unum (Incomplete)

-> Ask what's going on. -> Look away. -> Do what they asked you. -> Introduce yourself. -> The redhead… -> Obey and sit down. OR Ask for what he wants. -> Accept.

Father (Incomplete)

-> Ask what's going on. -> Look away. -> Do what they asked you. -> Introduce yourself. -> Septem… -> Wait until he speaks. -> Accept. -> Stay here and wait. OR Investigate the room. -> Time for what? OR I need you to explain to me what's happening. -> Don't say anything. (If you spoke with Rafael.) -> Investigate the doors OR Stay here. -> Lie to cover up the puppet. -> Accept. -> Enter. -> Let it be. -> Click on the spider when it appears in Septem's garden. -> Stay. -> Enter Father's real name upon being prompted.*

Rafael (Incomplete)

OR Investigate the room. -> Time for what? OR I need you to explain to me what's happening. -> Investigate the doors. -> Go up to the second floor. -> Go to the door on the left. -> Use the key. -> Don't say anything. -> Investigate the doors. -> Search for the documents. -> Use the key. -> Look for Septem's puppet. -> Yes. -> Save here — Septem's route will go on as normal until the game gets updated.

Neo (Incomplete)

-> Ask what's going on. -> Look away. -> Do what they asked you. -> Introduce yourself as the player. -> Nulla… -> Yes. ("Nulla extends his hand for you to shake, thus sealing the deal.") -> Find a safe place where you can observe Nulla. -> Could we do something to cheer you up? -> Don't say anything.

Memories (Complete)

-> Ask what's going on. -> Look away. -> Do what they asked you. -> Introduce yourself as the player. -> Nulla… -> No. ("Nulla extends his hand for you to shake, thus sealing the deal.") -> No.*

your choices won't matter until the call on Day 9, therefore when Grim will ask you about your greatest fear, you'll know you're in for choosing your ending.

do a quicksave when you see this, just to have a quicker process on gaining the new 4 endings.

ending 6, BLOOM

- when asked about your greatest fear, choose "I'm scared of missing the little things in life." - after talking about cup noodles, choose "When we live together, I'll get the shelves stocked with original noodles. Got it." - when the chat room goes red, choose "I won't let you take our future!" - at Grim's place, choose "I'd really just like to go home…"

ending 7, FORGET ME NOT, the only bad ending of the dlc

- when asked about your greatest fear, choose "I'm scared of losing the people most important to me" - after the chat turns red, choose "...If I do, will you let Casper go?" - after Grim says, "I was right to come", choose "I don't want anything bad to happen to you..." - after "What's the plan here?", choose "Lock all the doors and stay inside forever?"

ending 8, INTERWOVEN

- when asked about your greatest fear, choose "I'm scared of not taking enough risks." - after Grim says, "It's time," choose "S.... soul baby time...?" - after Grim talks about cup noodles, choose "We could name our soul baby 'Original'."

ending 9, METAMORPHOSIS

- when asked about your greatest fear, choose "I'm scared of leaving nothing behind to be remembered by." - after the chat room goes red, choose "I'll never bow down to your stupid system." - after packing, choose "Is there... some kind of safe house? A hideout we could use?" - at Grim's place, choose "Pack some bags and hide out somewhere in superhell?"

hi amy! I'm just wondering if it's deliberate that you only get the O scene in the hotel room if you're romancing them? I noticed in the code it said that it's if you have high romance stats AND high relationship stats. I was wondering if this was on purpose or if it was supposed to be an "or" situation? (I only ask because I'm not romancing them but I still love them🥺)

yes it’s on purpose </3 O would never act that impulsively in any other circumstance sorry aha
