Why did you choose Patroclus for Leo? Leo is symbolized by a fierce and mighty lion and Leos are powerful leaders. Of anything, Leo would be Achilles or Agamemnon.

It took me a solid five minutes to work out what this anon was in response to and then I remembered years ago that I’d posted the zodiac signs Iliad characters post on my personal and not the Iliad-AU blog. Anon, you have scrolled through a lot to find that post, I salute you!

There are? Two reasons we as the Iliad-AU mods made Patroclus a Leo (sorry I am getting very intense flashbacks to when I was in college and we actually ran that blog)- the first is that…Patroclus mod was a Leo and we were mostly meme-ing around?

But once we’d typed it we all actually? Agreed with putting him as a Leo. You are right that Leo is signified by the proud and mighty lion and leadership is a big part of the Leo identity. But you must also remember that Patroclus is a leader in his own right, when he makes decisions (such as ignoring Achilles’ desire not to help the Achaeans and going around doing all of his medic shit, taking Achilles’ armour into battle) he is respected and followed. Leadership doesn’t have to be ‘people respect me and do what I tell them to do’ but also ‘I will do this thing and people will give me the authority to do it and/or follow me in doing this thing’, and in that way it fits! The other thing about Leo is that they have strong emotions, are generous with their time and energy, compassionate, and they are fiercely proud and protective. I don’t know- I think this works really well for Patroclus!

Also Achilles is haaaands down a Cancer.
