Anyone wanna help me with a plot point for a story?
I feel slightly silly for asking, but im literally stuck at this point so maybe some outside perspective could help me out?
So the plot is basically 3 people get powers to fight this very large alien and they defeat it successfully but then it turns out that the alien is still alive, it's just gone into smaller numerous forms that can attack themselves to people and leech energy/stuff off of the victims
the three people can find the victims and save them, but if they dont do so before the piece is done leeching energy from the victim, the victim will die
in the, I was thinking that the alien will recall all the remaining pieces that the heroes havent yet destroyed so there can be like a grande finale i guess
but according to my very own logic, if the pieces are recalled, they'll probably kill all the people who are unknowingly hosting them.
And this series is very light hearted/more character focused. I dont want to throw something like this into the final part, not when it would be really jarring and inconsistent with the rest of the series. (or at least that's how i feel.)
so any ideas about reworking this? i still want the big fight in the end between the heroes and the alien, but i not exactly into killing off 40 or ore people to make that happen
if you want more details just message me or something or whatever
"What does the name Ichijo mean to you?" Godai mutters in his sleep.
The man that he recently had intercourse with looks over at his sleeping (lover? one night standee? The man has no words to describe Godai Yuusuke, who came into his life like a hurricane but whose arms seem like the most fitting place to sleep, whose laughter sounds like something he heard once long ago and whose smile is so radiant that he couldn't resist keeping his hands off of him.)
"Ichijo?" The man asks, playing along with Godai's dreams.
"Ichijo Kaoru. It probably doesn't mean anything to you. You're not him after all. But sometimes I think you might be, you know? There's so much that's the same..."
Huh, so Godai slept with him because he reminded him of an old flame. To be honest, it wasn't the worst reason in the world. But it stings the man's pride, perhaps just a little more than he's willing to admit, which is why he wakes up early and leaves without saying a word or leaving a note.
"Huh. Gone again," is Godai's only response to the thing. He dutifully pays for the room and leaves, walking a little more slowly than he did yesterday.
Some days, some fucking days, it just gets too much after a while.
It's tiring to see him everywhere in the world.
Some days it's all he can do from just screaming his name from the highest point in the nearby area, just see if he's here.
What if he's just playing a game that he knows Godai can't win?
There's something heart-breakingly familiar about that person wearing a long dark coat who just got on the bus, and before Godai can even make eye contact with them, Godai gets off.
Ichijo Kaoru didn't exist in this world as Godai once knew him.
And it's kind of infuriating to keep almost finding him.
Asking The Real Questions – A Kamen Rider Crossover Skype* Chat
I figure if these kids all have each others' numbers, then obviously they would all be in a skype chat together.
This was supposed to be more sad in nature, but it ended up being kind of happy? Darn these charismatic riders.
Summary: Tomari worries about certain repeating aspects in the narratives of Kamen Riders, especially the ones who recently preceded him

Partial List Of Why Some Of These People Were Online As Well As Other Info
Kenzaki was online waiting for Hajime to get on when he saw this chat flashing and decided to see what was going on. He was unusually cheerful when Hajime finally got on.
Tomari is basing his perceptions of riders based on the police reports available to him (and even though Fourze's report is based off of online forums, it is incredibly accurate.) (It's because it was written by Tomoko but he doesn't know that.) The older the series, the more poor the report for it is, so he doesn't know about Blade's ending or Kuuga or even all the details of why Ryuki was fighting and stuff. He's not exactly sure who or what Tsukasa is, but he understands that the others respect him as a rider. His personal name for the heisei chat group is “These Guys Ride Motorcycles? Weird.”
Phillip was pulled offline by Shotaro, who was complaining about him using his computer without his permission. (You have your own computer!)
There is a chat specifically for secondary riders, as well as a chat for riders in general, but both of those are used a lot less used than this one
The actual name of this chat is simply “Heisei Main Riders” though it often gets changed around randomly, and oftentimes after vicious arguments, Gen changes it to “Why Can't We All Just Be Friends????”
Series Summary: Godai Yuusuke meets every single heisei rider at some point in their life (usually before they even become Kamen Riders.) (Sometimes really early in their lives.)
Summary: Godai meets a young man going back to Japan
Note: contains technical spoilers for OOO. Don't read if you haven't completely watched OOO? Or do what you want.
Godai Yuusuke let out a sigh of content as he finished sipping from the bowl he held in his hands. The bowl of spicy soup was the best he had ever tasted in the world, especially after he had had to hike through the bitter cold to get here. The desert got uncomfortably cold at night, as he had learned long ago, but he also knew that nothing beat the chill out of a body like the food served at this place.
A rancorous shout went up in the restaurant, loudly ringing out over the din of chatter. Several others followed and it sounded like the men were drunk. With a sigh, an attendant went to go wait on them, listening to spit riddled shouts with a deadpan expression.
Godai looked at them briefly and then did a double take. Among the brown wrinkled faces that had become leathery with age and hard work was a young looking boy, who looked like he was from Japan. As he watched, the boy cheerfully gave other men some money and they got up from the table and left him alone.
Godai couldn't resist. He walked over to the boy and took a seat. The way the boy's face was red, Godai wondered if he had been drinking as well.
“Are you Japanese?” He asked him in his native tongue. The boy looked surprised to hear the language, but he smiled at Godai.
“Yes,” he said in Japanese.
“It's good to see one of my fellow countrymen this far out from home,” Godai said, clapping the younger fellow on his back. “It really brings forth a bit of nostalgia.”
“I'm actually on my way back home myself,” He said. “I'm just taking a detour here.”
“Oh I see. I can get that. This place has great food,” Godai said with a smile.
The other person nodded.
“So, what's your name?” Godai asked, remembering that he hadn't introduced himself. “My name is Godai Yuusuke, the man of 2000 skills.”
“Eh, 2000 skills? That's impressive. My name's Hino Eiji and... well I don't know how many skills I have. I don't know if I have any.”
“Nonsense,” Godai said. “Everyone has at least one skill, or something they love doing at least. Talking in Japanese, there's a skill you have right there!”
“The thing I love doing... even that didn't pan out for me. I travelled everywhere and I tried my best to help less fortunate peoples, but then I ended up causing harm with my attempts of help.” Here Eiji looked up at Godai with wide, red rimmed eyes. “I helped fund a civil war Mr. Godai. Even though I didn't shoot the weapons... I might as well have killed those people myself!” Eiji stared at his hands.
Godai's grin dropped. “That's even more nonsense. You didn't kill those people Eiji.”
“I did!” The young man insisted. “I might as well.” Eiji was shaking hard now, and Godai put his arm around his shoulder.
“I might as well have is not the same as I did. Did you know the funds were going to be used for wrong reasons when you gave them?”
Eiji shook his head. “No, I didn't imagine at all... that they would be used for... what happened.”
“Then you didn't do it. You can't change what happened in the past, but you must forgive yourself. You did not mean to harm. Yes harm came about because of your actions, but you must forgive yourself and then make greater pains to do better.”
Eiji was so quiet that for a minute, Godai wondered if he had even heard him.
“Do better? How can I do better? I have no power, and nothing to my name except a few coins, a pair of underwear...” Eiji gave a small, quiet bark of a laugh. “... and I have my name. That's it.”
Eiji stood up and out of Godai's embrace. “It was nice talking to you Mr. Godai. But I need to go now. I have to get up early tomorrow morning to leave.”
Godai tried to smile and he put up a thumbs up sign. “Maybe I can see you before you go?”
Eiji tiredly returned the gesture to him, without a smile. “Maybe,” he said simply.
Godai went back to his soup and drank deeply, before realizing that it was now cold. With its lack of heat, all of the spices were simply bitter and sharp and unforgiving.
For the Kamen Rider concept, the theme is kicking fate in the balls and the gimmick is dance
Kamen Rider… I dont know what to title this actually. Kamen Rider LetMeBe? Kamen Rider FuckFate? Kamen Rider Fateisaconstrustdesignedbypeopletokeepyouinboxesthatmakethemhappysoscrewthatshit?
Yeah you’re right, that last one is way too long. Kind of like what i wrote for this prompt.
A 24 year old woman is to be (unwillingly) married to a boy in an arranged marriage. A person in high school who was told all their life that they are a Boy is questioning whether that’s true or not. A 35 year old high school drop out just visited her parents, and is wondering whether or not things will be okay in her future.
These three people had come to the mall for different reasons, to escape different people. But they all were there when the fighting began. A huge pale blue monster was fighting an even bigger dark blue monster using this weird bracelet on their arm. There was screaming and lots of panicking, but for some reason, those three had to stay (maybe their way out got blocked or something?) They were taking cover kind of close to each other and when one out loud, considers the idea that the light blue monster’s moves look like dancing the other two agree with her. It turns out that all three of them have experience in dancing, but due to different reasons, they all had to give it up.
There was an explosion and as the three look over, they notice that the pale blue monster has fallen to the ground and is mortally injured. The 35 year old noticed that the bracelet the pale blue monster were using to fight fell off and broke into three cleanly broken parts. She jokes that she could almost put the thing on her waist and wear it as a belt.(The 20 year old tells her to stop joking around and the three each grab a piece and bring it over to the fallen monster.)
But the pale blue monster is dying and there’s nothing they could do. The monster begs them to stop the other monster before he hurts anyone else, and the monster tells them that just one of them has to wear the bracelet that fell off and they will gain the strength to stop the monster.
The high school kid apologetically tells the monster that it broke into three parts and the three show the monster. The monster laments that all is lost, until the monsters suspiciously toy-like sidekick/animal friend shows up and is like: no wait they could just each wear one piece and they could fight together and everybody’s just like what.
but then the pale blue monster considers it and they’re like yeah you people should do that! it’s the only way to stop the other monster.
and they’re like ??? but they do it anyway and the toy sidekick coaches them but they figure out together that they can use dance moves to create bigger and more powerful attacks and their final attack is those three just coming together in a sick ass coordinated dance that just blows the monster to pieces.
And they’re like High five yeah we did it the show’s over! except it’s not, the bad monster just kind of split up into a bunch of pieces and has infected a bunch of people who were at the mall, and if the monster isn’t stopped they’re just going to come back and actually finish what they wanted to do: take over the world for another species.
The toy sidekick explains this all to them and the three are light… well shit i guess we have to stop this (after, you know, the proper amout of refusing the call or whatever)
As the monster possesses people, he coincidentally gets people who are going through difficult choice making times, and he just kind of destroys their lives by simply choosing one or the other AND makes them miserable because he’s draining energy from them at the same time. And while the toy sidekick can find people who have become possessed, the possessed people can’t reject the monster from their system until they expell him themselves by admitting that they are miserable and need help and the choices that they made aren’t the ones they wanted.
And it’s just a long series of everyone trying to get through their lives and to decide to do what they want even if fate (aka other people) tell them that they have to do things a certain way, they have to be a certain way, because they were born into this life like this.
And it turns out the pale blue monster and the dark blue monster were from this society that gave everyone a job at birth and those two were decided to be world conquerers for their society and those two were treated to a fantastic life where they literally only trained to prepare worlds to be taken over by their society, but the pale blue monster never really wanted to do this, the pale blue monster just wanted to be left alone, but they were help up as a champion, so first chance the pale blue monster got they sabotaged their mission by attacking their comrade and the other monster felt betrayed as heck so they killed the pale blue monster and they were still like 100% focused on their mission, on their life’s work, on their fate, that nothing that stands in their way will be considered at all and I just wrote a lot about this.
(in the end the monster manages to gather up a large portion of itself, and fights the riders, who do an even more awesome combo dance which includes parts of what they did in the first episode, to defeat it and turn it into dust. The toy sidekicks takes their belts back and leaves them to go back to the world it originally came from and to tell everyone that fate is not something that is carved onto your forehead but something you write of your free will and yeah.)
(also the drivers are named after the deceased monster, and each rider on their own is pretty powerful as well, as they come up with their own dance moves and combinations and stuff.)
Also bonus: out of the three of them, only the twenty year old has a motorcycle. So when they have to go to far away places asap, the three of them just pile onto the motorcycle and hang on for dear life as the 20 year drives. Imagine that. Three people screaming on a motorcycle going at 80 km an hour.
I really want to actually flesh this out into an actual series now.
The tags of one of your writings features Kaito working at McDonald's and giving Jonouchi/Hase two of things if they promise not to tell people he's working there and I think that is a writing that needs to exist.
Oh gosh it ended up being really long, so it’s going to go under a cut.
The tags that are being referred to are from this post.
*****
As they pulled up to the speaker, Jonouchi’s stomach began to turn. Was he really going to do this? For Hase-chan?
“Can I take your order?” Even though Jonouchi couldn’t see the worker’s face, he could picture the tired look on it. Jonouchi swallowed and then spoke.
“Um, can I get 500 nuggets please?”
“…” For a second, Jonouchi thought he hadn’t heard him and he was preparing himself to repeat that ludicrous statement.
“Are you kidding me?”
“Excuse me?” Jonouchi said in response. How rude.
“I mean… sure. Is there anything else?”
“No,” Jonouchi said resolutely. His eyes flickered over to Hase, who was still awake, but humming quietly to himself.
Jonouchi frowned as they pulled up to the payment window. No one was waiting for them and Hase was nodding off. He straightened up and tried to look through the window. Jonouchi could hear snippets of the argument between two McDonald’s employees if he strained his ears.
“We can’t do this kind of thing! It’s… 4 am! We should be… breakfast!” A higher pitched voice shouted, shrill with frustration.
“Only the strong… make those nuggets… I’ll do it myself even if I…. I’ll show you… I am truly strong.” The second voice was deeper, and as resolute as it was loud.
Even in his groggy state, Jonouchi recognized that second voice. “No way,” he said as he wondered if he was hallucinating or something.
“What, what is it?” Hase asked as he snapped awake.
“I thought I… nevermind just get your money out,” Jonouchi said, as a lady finally came to the window.
After Hase paid his full dues (just like he said he would,) Jonouchi drove them up to the pick up window. There seemed to be another scuffle behind it, but it was resolved more quickly, and finally someone that Jonouchi all too clearly recognized came with a box of nuggets.
“I told you that I’m strong enough to take care of it myself, alright?” The Mcdonald’s employee snapped at someone behind him. Then he turned to Jonouchi and held out a box of chicken nuggets.
“Here’s part of your order. The rest will be delivered to you as soon as possible.”
Jonouchi wasn’t exactly sure what to do but then Hase decided for him.
“Ah, Kumon! Kaito Kumon, is that you?” He asked excitedly.
Jonouchi looked back from Hase to Kaito, who’s face wore an expression of absolute resolution. But his hands were shaking a little bit, Jonouchi noted.
“Yeah, it’s me,” He said as though he couldn’t care less.
“Thank you,” Jonouchi said quietly as he accepted the box. Hase grabbed it right from Jonouchi and he started eating right then and there. Kaito swallowed as he still stood at the window, and then Hase opened his mouth to speak.
“Hey, isn’t it against the soccer league rules to have a part time job?” Hase said through a mouth full of chicken meat.
Jonouchi winced. He had been thinking of that as well. The rule was new, put in place after a guy on one of the other teams had collapsed on the field two months ago. Apparently he had been holding down three part time jobs and high school and the soccer league, so, of course, it became too much for the guy. The league then put some rules in place so that people wouldn’t collapse on their fields anymore, which was kind of unfair to the soccer players really.
Kaito looked away. “Okay sir, just please pull up to the front of the Mcdonald’s and I’ll bring you the rest of your order there.”
Jonouchi gripped the steering wheel tightly and he wondered what to do.
“Just go there, I’ll come to you!” Kaito almost shouted at them, and Jonouchi hurriedly drove.
*****
True to his word, Kaito had walked out of the Mcdonald’s restaurant in their uniform, carrying three more boxes of chicken nuggets. Instead of just delivering them through the car window, Kaito opened the back door and sat down, dropping the boxes next to him on the seat. As Jonouchi watched, Kaito took off his headset and tossed it away as he sighed and sat back.
The bags on Kaito’s eyes were so noticeable at this range. But Kaito simply glared at Jonouchi and he returned to staring straightforward.
“So what’s the story Kumon?” Hase asked. Jonouchi adjusted the rear-view mirror so he could look at Kaito. Kaito scowled.
“Why should I tell you anything?” Kaito snapped as he folded his arms across his chest.
“Well there is that soccer league rule. That we were just discussing.”
“Hase no!” Jonouchi said, but Kaito laughed.
“Go ahead and tell the league Hase. You know that’s the only way you’ll ever beat my team.”
“Why you absolute asshole – !”
“Hey, hey! Stop it you two! Hase, calm down you know Kaito gets his kicks from seeing people pissed off. And Kaito you imbecile. We’re not going to tell the league.”
“… really?” Kaito asked quietly, as he stared at the floor of Jonouchi’s car.
“Look, just because I wanna kick your ass on the soccer field doesn’t mean I want to see you beaten down in real life,” Hase said.
“We don’t want to win like this, and we’re not so petty to think so. We’d just like to know what’s going on,” Jonouchi said.
“Yeah aren’t you rich or something?” Hase said. Kaito sighed and looked away.
“No I’m not rich or something. My family, we always did well enough to get by. But then my dad got laid off by Yggdrasil and now we have no money coming in. We’ve got some money saved up, but it’s not enough, definitely not enough to last us forever. And since I need money for school, for books, for soccer league fees… I just went and got the first job I could.”
Jonouchi swallowed. “Kaito, with the tournament coming up… Team Baron’s going to be having mandatory practices, everyday… I mean I know we will.”
“Yeah it’s been rough… but I just need some time to adjust and I know I’ll be okay.”
“Kaito you have school. With that and with soccer and with these kind of midnight shifts, you’re goin’ to be fucking exhausted.”
Kaito rolled his eyes. “So what? Are you two going to give me money? Enough money to help out my family? I didn’t fucking think so.”
Jonouchi sat up straight. “No but we could make sure of your job security!”
“What?”
“We could come here whenever we could and we’d but whatever we can. We’ll tell all our friends to come here and recommend it to everyone.”
“Everyone?” Kaito asked.
Jonouchi nodded. “Okay okay, so not everyone. But we can tell a bunch of people who know how to keep a secret. Like Kazuraba and his friends.”
“Yeah!” Hase chimed in as he turned back and reached for a chicken nugget box. He opened it up and started eating as he continued. “And Peco and Zack. I know those two; they’d respect the hell out of you, even if you talent was dancing,” Hase said as he stuffed his face.
Kaito smirked. “And you probably wouldn’t stop being hungry even if you became a monster,” He said.
Hase laughed. “Yeah probably!”
To his surprise, Kaito chuckled as well. As he finished he coughed, and said, “You know, if there’s anything else you guys want, I could probably get it for you. For free.”
Jonouchi turned to Hase, to beg him not to ask for anything, but to his surprise Hase was already shaking his head.
“Nah. It’s like four am and Jonouchi still has to drive me home before rushing back to his house and pretending he didn’t stay up all night with me. We’re good man”
“Okay,” Kaito said as he retrieved his head set. “Thank you,” he said quietly. He got out of the car quickly and he walked away.
“Anytime, anytime,” Jonouchi said as he started his car up.
*****
I like to pretend that these kids are in high school or maybe early university, and that Jonouchi and Hase are way younger, like optimistic seniors or something maybe. (In the back of his mind, Jonouchi realizes that get a small group of people to come to a single franchise of an international corporation isn’t a lot to ensure job security. Kaito realizes this, but at the same time he’s cheered up by the idea of people coming to visit him who won’t harass him if he messes up or anything, so he doesn’t do anything to dissuade them.) (And I like to headcanon Kaito as this kid who believes in the idea of strength mostly as a protective measure, because as the world has shown him many times, there’s no one else you can really rely on to help you, but it’s not the worst protective measure because he also rationalizes that strong people wouldn’t be embarassed or upset by anything they did as long as they were the ones who chose to do it, so yeah. Imagine younger Kaito being embarassed and blushing because of the smallest, insignificant things. Oh gosh that’s cute. Anyways I’m also have really strong memories of like episode 5/6 when Baron and the nutters looked they were setting themselves up to be an alliance oh gosh I just want these dumb kids to be happy is all.)
She and her family are super rich and super powerful
She loves science a lot though, and she would spend all her days doing experiments if she could
but she actually has a lot of responsibilities back home so she rarely gets a chance to do what she wants
Her magical form is actually the weakest out of the entire family (in terms of strength)
But she’s also the only magical girl in all of the universes who can travel between dimensions so that makes up for it
The events of Shining Lady are actually the most downtime she’s gotten ever (in between fighting off demons and hiding from Malaya’s parents) but she can’t actually make any use of that time because all her equipment and stuff is back in her home dimension
She’s a lesbian
She looks Chinese
She is also the shortest member of her family and this pisses her off to no end
I would say a bunch more but technically they are all spoilers. Thanks for asking!
