11. How are they vocally expressive? What kind of voice, accent, tones, inflections, volume, phrases and slang, and manner of speaking do they use?
Tyler is very particular in his speaking style for the most part and he enunciates his words very clearly even when whispering. He’s a natural orator and his voice can fill a room. Everything sounds definite and generally lacks hesitation or think-time around it, as if he’s had his speeches pre-written. He can be casual and slangy if he wants to sound more likeable and easy-going.
16. Do they dream? What are those dreams like?
Sleeping, Tyler experiences only darkness, no dreams at all. It’s like he just blinks out of existence. On the verge of waking, he has vivid dreams that he is a very active participant in, more like daydreams or lucid dreams. He usually dreams of the same thing - a world that is returning to its natural state, he hasn’t explored all of it yet and probably never will, which is the beauty of it in his view.
18. What kind of person could they become in the future? What are some developmental paths that they could take, (best, worst, most likely?) what would cause them to come to pass, and what consequences might they have? What paths would you especially like to see, and why?
There might not be a ‘best’ outcome as Tyler is so committed to achieving whatever goal he decides to achieve. It would be worse if he was out for specific revenge. It’s most likely that he will fluctuate and some formerly defined things like his appearance will be less set in stone, as his selfhood is entirely derivative of who he engages with. I’m most interested in seeing what becomes of that, as there’s so much to explore with certain more fantastical aspects of his character.
20. What kind of individual relationships do they have with others, and how do they behave in them? How are they different between intimate relationships like friends, family, and lovers versus more impersonal relationships?
It can’t be said that Tyler is not a giver, intimate relationships are given his absolute focus even if he’s not getting anything more than fun out of it. Just spending a short amount of time with him can be very rewarding as he’s a good listener. In a day-to-day regular relationship he’s very flighty and can be kind of a flake, brushing off questions with a shrug, and he has absolutely no desire to even consider the idea of ‘family’. He would rather play a relationship out as a long game.
25. What do they need and want out of relationships, and how do they go about getting it?
What Tyler desires the most is the chance to enact a kind of power, be it physical or psychological. This surrounds everything he does and if he’s unable to achieve it immediately, he’ll stick with it until he has and then move on, leaving the husks of other human beings behind.
