DJ, floating upside-down in front of Link: Yo, kid, you want some cheese cubes?
Link: Uhhh....no...we're just gonna....go...
Acisha: Shit, bitch, I'll take some!
Link: ACISHA YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT'S IN THOSE!!
Acisha, her mouth already full of cheese: Cheese, Link. Cheese is what's in them.
Link: ........Alright, I'll take some too.
A few hours later....
Link, staring at the sky: I can smell colors.
Acisha, floating in the air: That's called synethesia.
Link: What?
Acisha: Exactly.

10 Links AU Part 1: Rise of Ganondorf, Ignore Path-2
They would not recommend the tree to anyone. Wet, cold, stuffy, service was terrible, do not stay here.
The only good thing about the experience was the sound of hooves thundering harmlessly past. That and actually leaving the tree.
The same hand that had pulled them into the tree pushes them out. Link collapses to the ground, and if they physically could have hugged it they would have. Instead they wind up laying spread-eagle in the grass gasping lung fulls of fresh air.
They’re perfectly content to stay there, but after a few times the bizarre feeling of a ghostly hand poking through their shoulder can’t be ignored.
When they look up at the green wreathed ghost she looks surprisingly relieved.
“Oh good, you’re alive,” she says, “thought you might have been some kind of weird breathing corpse or something.”
“Breathing corpse?” they ask.
The ghost shrugs, “Hey, you never know. So, what brings you to this neck of the woods?”
“Mostly running for my life.” Link replies.
The ghost nods and Link pulls themself back to their feet.
“Who was that you were talking to?”
“No idea, I was a bit too preoccupied with the monster to listen to them.”
“Think you should find them and ask?”
Link wilts, “I don’t know… They seemed pretty irritated with me…”
“Well it can’t hurt to try.” the ghost says, turning to look for the mysterious person, but they’re already long gone.
Link sighs, “I suppose I’ll have to live with the ignorance.”
The ghost shrugs, “Oh well, what’s your name?”
“Link. Yours?”
“Acisha,” she responds, “Where are you headed?”
“No idea.”
“Maybe you can find someone else who knows what that person was trying to tell you.”
“Maybe.” Link says.
Acisha grins, “An adventure, sounds fun.”
“Huh?” Link goes to ask but Acisha is already shoving a small plant into their hand and tugging them off in a random direction.

This is Indeed the Fairy You Are Looking For
“Veil mentioned that Fuchsia is handsome, right?”
Link, Acisha, and Zelda were climbing up a rocky, forested trail that led up the side of a mountain. Veil had sent them to find the Great Fairy named Fuchsia and ask him for help with an upcoming battle.
“If you need help in the upcoming battle, I would recommend visiting Fuchsia and asking him for help,” Veil had said.
“Fuchsia? Who’s that?”
“He’s a Great Fairy like me, although he is less powerful if I recall correctly. A lesser Great Fairy, if you will.”
“What’s he like?”
“Well, I can’t remember very clearly...I’ve only recovered a few of my memories since I was freed from the malice...but I do recall he was much shorter than me, but still very tall by Hylian standards. I also remember that he had a handsome face and dark hair, and a piercing, cold gaze.”
“Yeah, she mentioned that he was handsome,” Link responded. “Why do you ask?”
“Well, that’s kinda vague, isn’t it? Does that mean he’s her type? What even is Veil’s type? What do you suppose he looks like?”
Link and Acisha turned to Zelda after she spoke. They hadn’t thought about that.
“Maybe she means he’s super muscular or something?” Link suggested.
“With a solid, strong jawline,” Acisha added. “And a six pack.”
Zelda continued, “He’s probably got amazing hair too. With as much hair as Veil has, I bet others’ hairstyles stand out to her, especially on someone she finds attractive.”
“Well, she never said she was attracted to him,” Link pointed out, “she only mentioned he’s good looking.”
“She also said he had a really cold gaze, right?” Acisha added. “Maybe he’s really scary and intimidating, if that’s combined with being tall and buff.”
“Yeah, probably…” Zelda shuddered a bit.
The three climbed on a bit further, still discussing theories about how Fuchsia was going to look and what to expect. It didn’t take long for them to reach the clearing in the trees and rocks which marked the entrance to the Fairy’s Fountain. On the far side of the clearing was a dirt path, which led a bit farther up a hill, towards what looked like a waterfall. They could see a glint of white stone at the base of the waterfall. They figured that was where the fountain was.
“Well, it looks like we’re here,” Acisha declared. “You guys ready to head up?”
“Ready as I’ll ever be,” Link responded. Zelda nodded in agreement.
As the three reached the top of the path, they could see the Fairy’s Fountain more clearly. At the base of the waterfall was a large pool surrounded by white stone, with a small river branching out from it that led back down the mountain. Surrounding the pool were several cherry trees, which were all in full blossom, their petals blowing in the gentle breeze. To the side of the pool were three stone steps which curved around the pool, and flattened out at the top. Sitting on the steps they saw a tall, elegant man wearing flowing purple robes, who also had long silky hair that went down to his waist. The man was sipping on a cup of tea, with a teapot laid beside him on the steps.
Assuming he was a Hylian who had come to visit the fountain like they had, the trio decided to approach him.
“Hello!” Zelda was the first to speak. The man looked up from his tea with a neutral expression on his face, but it seemed as though he had expected them to come. “I’m Zelda, and this is Link and Acisha.” She gestured toward the two of them. “Are you here to see the Great Fairy, Fuchsia, like we are?”
The man narrowed his eyes a bit. He merely sighed and took a sip of his tea.
“Oh, I suppose that would be obvious...I mean, what reason would you have to be here other than to see the Great Fairy?”
The man put down his cup of tea, and rubbed the bridge of his nose. “I AM Fuchsia.”
The three of them stood in shocked silence.
After a very awkward few seconds of silence, Acisha was the first to speak up. “You are?”
“Yes,” he replied.
“But you look so...I dunno, normal. The other Great Fairies we’ve met had wings and horns…”
Fuchsia snapped his fingers, and a pair of horns appeared on his head, and about fifty or so translucent wings began to grow from his back. “Better?” he asked.
Acisha was stunned. “Er...yeah.”
Fuchsia looked at the three expectantly, but the three of them were still stunned that this seemingly ordinary man was actually the Great Fairy, and they were also embarrassed by their mistake, so they were silent.
Finally, Fuchsia spoke up again. “Did you need something? If not, you’re wasting my time.”
“Oh,” Zelda blushed, even more embarrassed. “Right. Um…”
“We’re about to go into battle, and we were told that you could help us,” Link explained. “Veil told us you’re the best person to ask about...stuff like that.”
Fuchsia’s gaze softened when he looked at Link. For a moment, he was very quiet.
“Is something the matter?” Link asked.
Fuchsia shook his head, dismissing the question. “So Veil sent you, then? I haven’t seen her in a while. I heard she got corrupted by malice. She’s doing better, then?”
Acisha spoke up, “Yeah, she’s doing a lot better now.”
“I see. That is good to hear.” He turned to Link again. “I will gladly aid you in your fight, young hero.”
@linkeduniverse-incorrect @naturaldisaster-goddess I can’t remember who else to tag, if I remember I’ll reblog with the rest of the tags...
Anyway! I hope I didn’t mess up the personalities or plot details anywhere, if so I’m sorry, I just wanted to show y’all what Fuchsia is like.
Also, looking back, I made it kinda confusing why Fuchsia just got suddenly quiet after looking at Link...I dunno how to fix that, but anyway, the reason is because he saw Link’s soul and noticed how pure and light it was, and he was deciding, hey, I like this little Hylian. Pure souls are rare.
So, uh...yeah
Hope y’all like it
10 Links AU Part 1: Rise of Ganondorf, Listen Path-4
Mist directed them towards where she said Zelda was, and by the time the pair turned around to say anything else to them, she’d disappeared. With nothing else to do they walked on.
And on…
And on…
And on…
Link had just started to wonder if they were going in circles when a shrill whistle note pierced the air.
A familiar, very important whistle note.
“Zelda…” they breathed, and then took off.
Acisha made a startled noise before gliding after them, “Hey! What’s the rush?!”
“That was Zelda’s note!” Link called back distractedly, leaping over a small shrub.
When a flashing streak of light became visible through the trees Link had already drawn a dagger and burst through the last layer of trees into the clearing.
The noise of their entrance wasn’t enough to distract the dueling teenagers circling each other with knives in hand. Of the two figures; Link recognized one.
Blood dripped from Zelda’s wrist; the shallow cut a testament of the distraction she’d afforded to blow her whistle.
Her opponent kept their eyes on her; almost as light on his feet as she was.
As soon as Link’s feet hit the grass their dagger was sailing through the air.
The unnamed assailant slipped out of its path, but their distraction cost them when Zelda’s glowing dagger slashed a cut into his outer wrist as she darted forward.
Zelda glides back out of his reach, snatching Link’s dagger out of the air as it passed, but she’d already won as her opponent’s knife fell from their hand.
He grunted in pain, eyes darting between Zelda and her two knives, Link and their easy grasp of another knife, and the glimmering arrow tip Acisha had aimed at their throat.
With a dissatisfied frown, and a spark of resignation, he vanished.
“What’s with all the vanishing people today?” Acisha wondered, her bow engulfing in green fire and disintegrating.
“You alright?” Link asks Zelda, catching the knife she threw to them.
“Fine,” she replies, “thank you for the help.”
“No problem,” Acisha says, drifting closer, “who was that?”
“One of Ganondorf’s cronies, no doubt. They had the stink of his magic all over them.”
“Sending assassins after you? He’s getting bolder.” Link comments.
Zelda nods, “Which means you’ll need to watch your back as well. From the looks of it something big is about to happen.”
Link and Acisha share a glance, “About that…”

@acisha
Raw power? She had that in spades, was born with more than she would ever know what to do with. But now that Arthur was seated on the throne, the dissenters quieted for now, perhaps she could learn to harness some of her power. Books were a good place to start, but then she’d heard of a visitor. A powerful woman from a far away land. She’d nearly begged Arthur for the chance to greet their guest, though Arthur had simply laughed as he assented.
She’d never been skilled with court manners, but she curtsied low, managing to keep her balance this time. “Your grace, welcome to Camelot. His majesty sends his warmest regards and looks forward to meeting you.”
@acisha liked the thing !!
“I have met many people in my long life who were greedy for more land, more worlds, more power. It works for a time: they fight, they conquer, they rule. A blissful life, no? They have all this power right in their grasp they can use at whim. And yet--” Loki’s hand had been held out as he spoke, palm up, face softened despite the weight of his words. But with the pause in sentence, that open palm closed into a tight fist, signifying destruction, an end. “--it always crumbles.”
How light his tone was. As a King who had succeeded many other Kings, he knew that greed, knew what it could do. The thing about ruling a species rather than a land was that greed was altogether not an issue. And as a King who watched the creatures of Midgard fight and conquer and rule from afar, he had an intimate understanding of what path the woman before him was on, provided she did not take every inch of precaution necessary. “And I warn them just as I am warning you and you know what they always say? ‘I am not those others. I will not fail.’ I have yet to be proven wrong.”
