Humble beginnings. ⛺
I'll be posting some throwbacks from last year to clear up space on my SD card. 🙃
Now that my island is finally done, I can finally rest.... Or not ? I have a lot of projects in my mind and I hope I'll be able to do it before the end of vacations ahah !
But now, it's time for a little throwback !
Here is the layout of my island before I started to flatten it. There was A LOT of water it was an absolute nightmare to fill everything ! But at least fishing was easy ~
And here is the actual layout ! Less water of course, but more land to work with and oh boy I am so proud of the end result ! As you can see, only Avery, Ruby and Ankha survived the villagerpocalypse 🙃
I gush to my friends and some coworkers about references to older games and realize half haven't even played the other games.
The other half weren't even born yet.
Miss this tent and the furniture inside! It will likely never happen, but it would be rad if we could build empty buildings. You get to choose what the outside looks like (maybe simple house vs custom) and there's a customizable sign to design, then you can decorate the inside however you want. Maybe this could be an extra villager or npc spot to invite folx to?
In the early days of ACNH I just stood and listened to the background sounds a lot more often than I do now. My secret beach was one of my favorite places to do this for a while, but really only at night.
I think the music transition really affected how often I just *stood* there and relaxed on the couch, as most of the regular hourly tracks don't offer the same kind of vibe in my opinion.
Anything between 11pm-5am is definitely a vibe, but it would be fun if we could choose the tracks some day or even change their order.

Fishing throwback! I was so stoked when I first caught this. I hope they add more fish and bugs some day, because experiencing all of the phrases for the first time was really enjoyable. 🐟
