Late in the season the impressive hooded, rich blue-purple flowers of Aconitum carmichaelii (Arendsii Group) 'Arendsii' (monk's hood, wolfsbane, leopard's bane, devil's helmet) appear. The plant is toxic so skin contact needs to be avoided, gloves and other protective equipment is required when handling.

I dried and pressed Aconitum napellus flowers and put them in a frame with sealing wax.

My right eye wanted to stay on the Other Side. So I had to make a real struggle to get it back. To make a tempest inside.

Results : punishment. I have again broken blood vessels under my conjunctiva this morning. I look awful. Zombie nation and the like...

But despite everything they're growing, though!
