I found some interesting spiky plants tonight on my walk. I knew the first was some sort of acorn but didn't know the name. After a little Google research I think it is a bur acorn from the bur oak. They are still immature but that's what looks the closest. The nut should grow to be somewhat large. I have seen something similar in Tennessee. . The second is a common milkweed seed pod. Right now they make me think of something from The Little Shop of Horrors...feed me Seymour....They will mature, dry and turn brown before they split open and let all of the milky white fluffy seeds fly away. These grew in Tennessee as well. . Sadly I have only seen 2 kinds of mushrooms. One was small and creamy colored. The other was bright white and growing on a dead log. . I love nature, it's so interesting and beautiful! . #nature #naturewalk #acorn #oak #bur #acorncap #spiky #milkweed #seed #seedpod #LittleShopofHorrors #FeedMeSeymour #canada #tennessee #mushrooms #frigglefraggle #thefrigglefraggle (at Waterloo, Ontario)
