i feel liiiike maybe Morninglight might have the sort of shrug emoji at the rules type beat that would get acorn to loosen up with regards to even thinking about a cross-clan romance, plus, like... he’s pretty : ) Morninglight might be able to get Acornfang out of his shell a little more, show him a different side to looking at things, Acornfang could do the same in return... it might not be very long lasting relationship but i feel like it would be a little fling where they could both end on good terms and learn from it

Acornfang, Juniperpaw, Brightheart, Mothfur, Lilystar, Pumpkinpelt, OR Honey Frost! take your pick <3 wuv you

acornfang seems to inevitably be walking the path of falling for nutfur, and i think they’re genuinely super good for each other. like, acornfang spent a majority of his youth mourning his mother and going through difficulties surrounding that, but i feel his bond with nutfur kept him from really falling into the depth of his sorrow. nutfur is a good support for acornfang, and he brings out a lighter side of him that really seems to compliment nutfur’s own easygoing and friendly nature. with nutfur just recently losing his own family member, i can only assume acornfang’s doing the same duty of helping him through that struggle in return, and i think it’d be sweet for them to come closer together and out on the other side of their mourning as a pair.

juniperpaw miiiight have something building with weaselpaw, but because i am selfish and biased towards my own interests, so! a more random ship that i think would be intriguing would be webpaw and juniperpaw. i feel like deep down they have pretty similar motivations and a desire to do good / be impressive in some manner, but they cope with that in very different ways. to me, juniperpaw would do best with someone who can match her more stubborn manner, and webpaw’s a good contendor there, being quite stubborn herself. they’d probably butt heads to start out with, but i think with time juniperpaw might come to admire webpaw and webpaw would realize there’s more to juniperpaw than being a bit stuck up...it’d be a cute rivals to lovers arc!

brightheart is a cat i can’t actually see going further than flirtation with anything cross-clan, so considering her options within creekclan, i actually think that she and echopaw could be interesting. they were both trained by currentstar and therefore could maybe meet / get to know each other via that shared connection, and i just feel that echopaw would be attracted to the sort of confident aura brightheart has. or...puts on. she’s a lot more sensitive than she lets her clanmates know, and if echopaw was able to get close to her, i think she’d be a good cat to help brightheart handle her feelings. i mean, echopaw handles quill who is much more emotional and volatile, so perhaps with time, she and brightheart would find a way to understand each other.

mothfur really needs to find her place in nettleclan, and figflower is also another warrior i feel struggles with belonging. if they were able to get to know each other, i really think that they’d be able to find that sense of purpose / find a place to belong...to each other! it might take some time for them both to emerge from their respective shells, but together they’d be stronger than they are apart.

lilystar’s perfect match is palestar, no i will not apologize, no i will not elaborate.

pumpkinpelt is a sweet boy who needs an equally sweet boy to match him, and okay, he’s an npc now but...i actually really like the idea of pumpkinpelt and minkcloud. pumpkinpelt himself never got entirely wrapped up in the palestar shenanigans of his clanmates, but he’s supported a lot of them through it, and i think minkcloud could use that sympathy and genuine understanding. minkcloud’s also the sort of cat who just genuinely is a sweetheart deep down, misguided but sweet, and seeing him come around and learn to trust pumpkinpelt after all that happened in fogclan...it’d be cute. don’t @ me.

i’m going to cop out on honey frost because i’ve typed so much here and simply repeat that i think he and little bee would be precious together.
