I love y’all so much but stop completely eliminating what Nesta did for her sister and for Prythian because you hate her. Yes she was horrible, yes she did and said things she should not have— they all did. Even Feyre herself from book one says that sometimes she didn’t even know which of them was more wretched— actually the only person who wasn’t was Elain.

Anyway. YOU DONT HAVE TO TRASH ONE SISTER TO DEFEND THE OTHER. That is literally the whole point of this story— Three sisters going through some hard, horrible stuff and coming out the other end broken and trying to fix themselves and their relationships.

Nesta will always be a little broken— just like Feyre and just like Elain.

Yes Rhysand was in his right to be mean to her and mad at her but everyone seems to have simply deleted their final interaction from their mind. Rhysand thanked Nesta on his knees for saving Feyre’s life. In the end, love won— SISTER LOVE.

STOP. MAKING. FEYRE. AND. NESTA. HATE. EACH. OTHER. IN. YOUR. MIND.

And for those that throw away every single page of progress Nesta made towards repairing herself and her relationship with her sisters because she didn’t say the words— THE STORY IS NOT OVER. She is still in the story, there is still time, there is still opportunities. Nesta at the end of the book was STARTING her full healing journey, and still working on it. Plus she saved their life— is that nothing????

holly said that valerian hated jude because he desired her, but honestly i don't see it. like yes, we have that one fragment with him staring at taryn's curves, but none of his actions indicate desire for jude for me?? every time, he went straight for the kill. even with the whole fairy fruit situation, he was trying to choke her with it. valerian strikes me as a person that in this kind of situation where his victim was powerless and he was in a group and would truly sexually desire someone inferior like jude, he would just assault them and instead it was nicassia ordering her to undress and then crawl and lick her hands clean. i more believe that he simply loved to be cruel and jude was the perfect victim because she was mortal, the whole group hated her as well and with her constant fighting he had a reason to be cruel.

I think the desire he felt for her had Nothing to do with emotion and that is why he tried to kill her every single time— because he hated it and so he hated her.

Cardan, for example, desired Jude as well but he also liked her (and he hated himself but that’s off topic), so his hate at wanting someone he viewed so lowly just made him bully her but never go so far as to actually harm her (okay he harmed her but I meant that like to the extent that Valerian did).

Valerian’s desire for Jude was physical and more of like a response of his body to hers, which naturally made him angry because he views humans as disgusting— and his natural inclination to violence just made him act in hatred whenever he felt any attraction to her. He went straight to kill because he didn’t like her or his ‘feelings’ towards her (I put it in quotes because of my no feelings argument). It’s kinda similar (but not exactly) to Jude (briefly) considering killing Cardan to stop thinking about him or feeling what she felt for him

Nicasia telling Jude to take her clothes off and lick her fingers was freaky as hell but I think she was just trying to humiliate her. And I kind of feel like she was trying to trigger either Valerian or Cardan or even Locke— idk

I’m still on hiatus BUT

Mr Hubs and I started watching HP— I said I’d never watch a show/movie before reading the books but I’ve got too much on my plate so we’re doing it! We’re almost done with the first movie (we’re watching it in parts).

You are delusional if you think Elain can carry over 1600 pages of a book. This is either a multi POV book or a Gwyn book. Say what you want about Gwyn but atleast we can tell that she can carry a huge book. She is skilled and is connected to so many plots. But whereas with Elain it will be very difficult.

I want you to actually detail the plots gwyn is connected to…and send it to me.

Like even in ACOSF, ‘her book’ she is literally just a step in Nesta’s climb.
