Jane was once again on her back, this time she looked up and grinned. "I almost grabbed a beehive," she said with a laugh, "barely made it out in time!"
Two Cities
As promised, the restaurant they met at was nothing too special. There were four men seated at the table Jane lead him too, one of which was Eliezer Damiano. His eyes lit up when he spotted Jane, but when he saw her friend he became distressed, and a little confused. When the other men spotted him, they were perplexed as well.
"We're not late, are we?" Jane asked, amused. When no one spoke she motioned to her friend, "I hope you don't mind. I brought a new friend of mine with me. This is Carlton Mayes." she said.
Eliezer narrowed his eyes.
Old World Things
"Lord Crow" was woken up by loud, harsh coughing. It was daytime again, and an older, stockier man was in the room with him. He looked as though he was on his way out when the fit took him. Seeing the bird was now awake, the man glared as he coughed.
