The blonde’s reply is both irritating and relieving at the same time. On one hand, Kenny’s self-assurance kind of makes him want to punch him; on the other, Kyle is glad that he hadn’t been paying those girls any attention (in his opinion, they were as subtle as a car crash; their fucking giggling was both grating to his ears and a dead giveaway, and the way they made eyes at Kenny? It frayed at his nerves).
Confused at his own reaction but not willing to dwell on it, Kyle settles on half-heartedly shoving at Kenny’s shoulder. “I wish we all had your confidence,” he says, sarcasm dripping from his tone. Yeah, maybe that was why he felt agitated--Kenny always got attention like that. Of course it’d be a little irritating from time to time.
