I was part of a small little holiday art trade recently and put together this piece for my side for @acrylicfirefly . Tried a few new things when it came to flat art and really liked how they came out.

For the recent Yu-Gi-Oh pairing post. Always interested on peoples thoughts on "less popular" characters. Rishid Ishtar or Mahad 🤔

WELL YOURE IN LUCK CUZ I LOVE BOTH OF THESE GUYS i'm gonna do mahad cuz I feel like I have more I can say about him, shipping wise--I LOVE rishid as a character, but I'm not really interested in ships with him (I just adore his relationship with his siblings, it makes me so soft)

My NOTP for them: NOT a huge fan of him being shipped with Mana, no thank you....... shes like 13 and hes like 20-22ish, I simply think they are besties and he sees her like a little sister, thank you

My BROTP for them: hooouughghhhh I really...Really like his bond with atem. I'm on the fence how I feel about it romantically speaking because, again, atem is 16 and mahad is 22, and also in general I hc atem as aro, but I feel like there's some definite degree of soulmateitude floating around in there. The eternal love and devotion aspect, my god, there is so much love there, I think it has to go beyond just 'feeling obligated to serve your future king.'

My OTP for them: yeah probably him and atem in this very convoluted platonic soulmate lost over the centuries madness spiral i have just described above.  

My second choice pairing for them: anyone out there shipping dark magician!mahad and the red!dark magician from arkana's deck??? anyone??? anyone???? how we feeling on that????? i think it could be fun.

My fluffy pairing for them: not sure if I have one??? hm

My angsty pairing for them: again whatever is going on with him and atem....something about the "you forgot about me for 3000 years but I still stood by your side and protected you" is like. WOOF 

My favorite poly ship for them: non-romantically speaking I do love mana-mahad-atem as a friendship trio....thinking about them in modern AUs. i love childhood friends who grew up together and now things have Some Level of Complication 

My weirdest pairing for them: mfs aren't ready for the "College AU Mahad and College AU Zane accidentally going to the same stupid warehouse raves and becoming associates whether they want to be or not because their little siblings started dating" dynamic that lives in my brain and that truly only I care about lol
