Do you think that there is a reason why top decided to perform 'act like nothing is wrong' again? Is it only me or is it a slightly different version?
Yes, I do think there is a very specific reason why he’s decided to add that song back into his repertoire. TOP is a Scorpio & everything a Scorpio does has a deeper, hidden meaning. They aren’t the type to do things without a distinct purpose. (Trust me. I live with one. lol)Now… I will say that I have a theory as to why. But, let me stress that this is only a theory. Obviously, I don’t know Seung Hyun’s inner thought process or his motivations for wanting to sing “Act Like Nothing’s Wrong” again. These are just my own thoughts on the matter.
Personally, I think it’s all related to his upcoming enlistment. Bear with me here, cause I’m gonna explain. This gets long, hence the cut. :)
First off, notice that the beginning is missing. He doesn’t do the whole “this is a song for my ex- girlfriend” bit anymore. Also missing are all the girls lyrics and the lyrics in the middle where he refers to their first date and still having her birthday marked on his calendar. So… what we are left with is essentially:

Okay, so that’s the lyrics sorted out, now let’s discuss the visual.
We start out with what’s called a “Test Card” on the screens. A test card, also known as a test pattern or start-up/closedown test is a television test signal, typically broadcast at times when the transmitter is active but no program is being broadcast (often at startup and closedown). I interpret this as meaning that while Bigbang may be active without him, his own broadcast will not be transmitted. Also notice the flashing text of “No Signal” that happens occasionally too.And the most telling thing, I think, is that he doesn’t actually appear on the stage for any of it. He sings the entire song backstage, with only snippets & flickers of him being shown on the screens. It’s almost as if he’s telling us to prepare not to see him in person. Like, all we’re going to get to see of him for the next two years will be all through a screen.Honestly, I think he’s singing it now as a sort of goodbye song to VIP’s/Bigbang. I think he’s seriously scared/apprehensive about his upcoming service, but he’s trying to put on a brave face about it. He’s the hyung. He’s supposed to set an example. It’s his burden to bear. The others will look to him and his behavior regarding the situation and use it as a guide when their time comes.And, as silly as it seems to us, I think he’s afraid that when he comes back that we will have forgotten about him or not love him anymore. I really hope that, in the end, we can prove to him (and the others) that those fears are unfounded.
