I am in theatre right now

I had 2 performances already. And it's so great being on stage. Seeing people smile, making them laugh, making them sink into a world. Escaping this view of the world to see the beautiful part. The beautiful part of language, of love, of feelings. Of understanding people and their emotions. The raw reality of improvisation. Without that editing.. Just seeing people live. A really interesting thing is to see how people play the same role in different ways.

Why I hate the media and hollywood part 1 of probably many parts:

The way hollywood destroyed these women and how the media just trashed them as "reckless" and "disasters":

Britney Spears and Janet Jackson were accused of of things that were not their fault and the media completely violated them and when Amy Winehouse and Amanda Bynes had mental breakdowns and received backlash from the media Hollywood and the industry is just dismissive of them.

The media labelling these men "womanizers" because they were young popular and got a lot of female attention

These guys have been called really horrible things by the media since the beginning of their careers when they were extremely young Leonardo DiCaprio was like 21 or 22 in that picture which is an adult but regardless is still very young Zac Efron was 17 or 18 barley an adult still teenager pretty much and Harry Styles was 16 he was still a MINOR

It also shows the industry does nothing to defend them and just wants to make money out these people.

Tbh I think Jensen got it into his head that he was the golden boy of SPN and that after the show was done he would continue to get steady work as an actor or director. Maybe even a lead somewhere. He seems to forget that Pedowitz, Roth & TPTB considered Jared as part of that deal that made the show golden, not just him. Kinda like how MC believed in his own hype and now he's nowhere to be seen. The backlash won't be major for him, but a lot of Jared fans will not support him after this.

Personally, I don't know what Jensen thought about his importance on SPN, but it is reasonable to hope that after co-leading a show for 15 years, he might have more options available. Unfortunately, that happens for very few long-running show leads. The current actors I can think that have successfully transitioned between one steady job to another include Jared, Nathan Fillion, David Boreanaz, Shemar Moore and well, before today, Michael Weatherly (what I find really unfortunate is that there aren't any actresses that I can think of to put on this list).

Any actor that assumes they're going to have continuous work is setting themselves up for disappointment. It's back to job-hunting and I don't know anyone in any industry that likes to job-hunt.

As for the backlash, there won't be any. The podcast is niche. It's not something the trade publications pay attention to. As for losing Jared fans, I don't think that will hurt him that much either. The Boys and Walker are two very different genres. Not all Jared fans like Walker, not all Jensen fans like The Boys, and vice versa. The only place I see it being an issue is if the SPN prequel moves forward, and even then, it wasn't a stellar idea with any of the fans.

(Misha has quickly fallen off of his high horse of believing his own hype. Reality has caught up to him and it isn't pretty).

I thought they’d support him considering Gerard is behind it, plus the show already has represented queer and a non binary character but I still had a small worry about it. Once again whatever is to go forward with him continuing his role the best outcome for him is the most important thing. I’ve not been in anything big but getting shunned because people wanted cis people to play cis roles or trans people to only be allowed to be included if played their assigned at birth gender is some horrible stuff to cope with.

After witnessing the shitshow following Jared's arrest on Tumblr and /r/supernatural, finding your blog was like a breath of fresh air. You bring a unique and much-needed perspective to SPN, and your posts offer a really interesting look into the fandom and BTS politics and soap opera antics, which I had no idea about. It's going to be interesting to see what's going to go down next year with the fandom and the major players in the show as SPN ends. *gif of Michael Jackson eating popcorn*

People let their ID (uncoordinated instinctual desires) run wild on the internet, esp Reddit and Tumblr. 

It’s probably not a bad thing to indulge temporairly in their feels and then promptly forget it 5 minutes later, catching up to the rest of the world that’s already moved past Jared’s trespasses since he doesn’t have a habit of getting arrested. The problems with AAs is they don’t want to forget and let their IDs break into the surface and earn them side eyes from the penguins and seals resting on the ice bergs minding their own business.

I look at my favorite medians (includng SPN) and its fandom from a more casual fan perspective, the super fan part of me tends to gets tempered by my cold memories of the highs and lows of the acting business.  I have absolutely no regrets and I’ll do it again in a heartbeat, but I’m glad to have moved on from the industry.  The only reason to go into acting professionally is if you can’t stomach the thought of pursuing any other kind of career, even if you never make a penny as an actor.  Turns out I like money too much.

Initially I expected the fate of SPN main cast to follow the fate of most 90′s televison stars.  But that was then, now is the era of New Media.  Initially I thought Jared couldn’t stomach the thought of leading another series, but I didn’t consider that the network could film in his home city.  Initially I thought nobody was dumb enough to go into business with Danneel’s himbo brother Gino Graul, but *gif of Michael Jackson eating popcorn*.
