one of my favorite and constant rewatch shows is CBS Elementary (ACAB tho) w/Johnny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu.

so I have seen every episode like ... A LOT of times. but still, Ophelia Lovibond's performance as Kitty Winter at the end of S3Ep11 is still so ...

oh my FUCKING fuck.

her journey from surprise to alarm to hope and fear to DISGUST and shame and RAGE and PAIN is just ... it's magnificent. it happens in such a short (believable) time, it's so so so good.

Ophelia Lovibond, I love you. Kitty Winter, I love you.

I made it through the second round of casting. They have me listed playing a German nun.LOL the next step is approval from the director May 10. I will know after that if I have the roll. filming is Aug-Sept.

whenever I feel nervous about aging I just remember that in 25 years I’ll finally be able to pull off that queen margaret speech from henry 6 part 3 and that day cannot come fast enough actually

Aaaaaaaactiiiiiiiiiiiing. For the first time in 22 months!!!! And it went super super crazy well. My fave moment was when one of the women in charge came up to me and was so complimentary going on about how talented I was and how funny and fantastic etc and ended with "...who wrote that?!" LOL like I just assumed she was talking about my writing because it had been so long since I performed. So it just gave me such a warm and fuzzy and happy feeling to know that she had enjoyed and was moved by my performance separately from my writing. It's nice to have moments of validation when you're not 100% sure you know what you're doing 😜
