not particularly professional, but it is a step in the right direction to get over my anxiety about performing again.
booked an audition for a musical. the audition is on sunday and although i'm pretty shit at dancing as a general rule, i do catch on quite quickly and with practice and rehearsals (should i get any parts), i should be fine.
i have to come in with one song. preferably from a musical but anything to show my vocal range is fine. i'm really confident singing a particular Hugh Laurie song, but if they want it from a musical... would Dr.Horrible's Sing-Along Blog count do you think?
also, one short monologue. preferably from a play, but anything i'm confident doing. i want to do Sherlock's best man speech, but i should really pick something else from a different play, shouldn't i?
ughh. anxiety, hello again.
