Response from the organizers of People Over Profits to the release of new terms for the Fall 2016 schedule.
“The organizers of People Over Profits are delighted, and in fact completely blown away that their small contribution to the many-years-in-the-making behind the scenes work by many people, part and full time, to resolve the issues surrounding pt faculty employment at PNCA has, because of YOUR feet on the ground, in the park, in the collective COMMONS, produced a RADICAL and workable solution to a very immediate problem--preserving the HUMAN CAPITAL of the many FANTASTIC faculty members at PNCA so that they can KEEP THEIR JOBS! We are contagiously proud of this institution for leading the way in this larger battle. This is the first of many, many issues that need to be reformed in higher education, but it is nevertheless monumental. Adjunct stories are ALWAYS bad; this one is good and portends others that are even more transformative!
