How to get the Grim Reaper as a playable Sim:
First things first, You will need Twallan's Master Controller mod, which you can find here (:
On his Wiki, you will find instructions on how to download the mod but if you have a mac like me here are your instructions:
1. Download the mod, since you have a mac, the download should automatically "unzip" itself.
2. Control click on the download and click on "Show in finder"
3.Highlight the mod file and go the the gear tab located at the top. Click on it and choose "Copy (insertmodfilehere).package"
4. Next go to documents, EA Games, The Sims 3, Mods, Packages. Once there, Paste the contents into the folder.
Okay, from here the instructions are the same for everybody.
-Start up your game. Choose your save file and load it.
-Once you are in game, click on any random part of the ground and the Interaction "Nraas" should pop up. Choose the "Nraas" interaction and proceed to click on "Master Controller".
-Find the "Add Sim" option and click on it. Now scroll down the list until you come across the "Type of Service" option. Click on that and choose "Type: Grim Reaper"
-Now exist Master controller and the grim reaper should pop up as part of your active family. But you aren't done yet! If you play around with him a bit you'll notice that interactions with him are very limited. That is because he is still acting like a "service sim"
-So the next step is to click on the Grim Reaper and choose Nraas, Master Controller, and click on Advanced, which is located at the top of the list.
-In the Advanced section, scroll down until you come across the "Edit in CAS" option. Select that and you will be directed into CAS. Once there, Change whatever you want to about the Grim Reaper, Personality, favorites, voice, etc. and save him to the Sim Bin.
-Exit CAS and click on Grim Again. Nraas, Master Controller, Advanced, Set Service, and set his service to Grim Reaper. Now he will no longer be an active sim, but don't be surprised if he hangs around your house for a while.
Now you can add a Grim Reaper to the neighborhood or merge him into your current active household. (:
