I love this picture of Mount Rainier I shot at City Beach, in Oak Harbor, the other day!! It's 166 miles away from us so this is a rare and beautiful sight to behold!! It was such a clear day... it's incredible to me how peaceful an active volcano can look, when it's dormant... it's me second favorite active volcano... Mount Baker is my favorite!! I love the Cascade Mountains!! It's thrilling to me to live so close to the Pacific Ring of Fire 🌋 🔥 The Cascade Mountains look a lot like the Swiss Alps... they're called the American Alps... I've been to both places, and they are, both, phenomenal places to see and experience!! I, particularly, love the glaciers!!!🩵🩵🩵 glacial blue is the most incredible shade of blue I've ever seen!!! 🩵🩵🩵

I love Deception Pass!! ❤️ the view from the bridge is gorgeous and it's thrilling to watch the water swirl around. The current is so strong that I've seen small boats get caught in them and just spin until the tide changes. The world's largest octopus lives in a cave deep down there, too!! It's a very exciting place to be!! The Deception Pass Bridge connects Whidbey Island with Fidalgo Island. You can see the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east. You can even see my favorite active volcano, Mount Baker. It's one of the most visited tourist spots in the country. It has been ever since Oprah Winfrey told the world how beautiful it is there on her show... it's really worth seeing.
