Another one for the books. This has been a whirlwind of a season for me. Every year I come away learning more and more about myself and this sport I torture myself with 😅 What pushes you during the season is the idea that all your hard work and sacrfice will pay off. And sometimes it does. Sometimes everything aligns just right and you get that true feeling of accomplishment and gratification. But oftentimes, it doesn't. We didn't make finals this year, but I'm happy with where things have ended. These women and I have gone through a lot this season, and I'm so proud of them and myself for pushing through until the end. I'm leaving #Doha happy, healthy, and ready for this-well deserved break before I'm ay it again. A huge thanks to all my friends and family for their constant check-ins and belief. They keep me strongest on the hardest days. And of course, thanks to all the Ghanaians who are never shy to raise us up. You remind me that these instances mean a lot to many all around the world. I'm now off for some much-needed R&R (from track not from real-life work 😅) #activelygemma #AthleticsGhana (at Doha) https://www.instagram.com/p/B3NwcpPHj5I/?igshid=1f7fg6bgzcf2o
