PSA: Indefinite Hiatus

OOC: Hi everyone! I hope that you are well.

I have decided that I'm putting Pegasus’ blog on an indefinite hiatus again. This was a hard decision for me to make, but the lack of muse and activity on this blog showed me that I just need to give this blog a break.

Please consider all threads dropped and/or paused due to the blog hiatus.

PSA - Family Vacation

Hey folks! I'm not exactly super active as it is currently (summer vacation, family obligations etc etc) but wanted to mention I'll be even more quiet than usual for the next week and some change. We're going to a family friends' cabin for a few days, then I come home for a day and kiddo and I are off to visit my sister in NYC.

I hope you all are doing well and enjoying the summer so far. Feel free to tag me or message me for any shenanigans you'd like me to see or memes you want prompts for - I'll happily get to them when I have the time / wifi to do so!

PSA: ON HIATUS

Hi everyone!

I know I haven’t been super-active on this blog much if at all. Because of this, I’ve decided that I’ll be putting this blog on an indefinite hiatus. 

All current threads are dropped due to the hiatus.

Thank you for everyone who has RPed with me on this blog! It’s been a pleasure to do so, and I hope to return to this blog in the future if the muse comes back.

Activity PSA- May thru Mid-August

Hey!

So some of you may or may not know, I graduated this May. And my profession rewards recent graduates by having them basically taking a licensing exam at the end of July (aka the Bar Exam). And I have to study hard for it because I need to pass the first time for many, many reasons. This means that my activity will be low, and I will be exhausted when I do manage some free time. So I will appreciate your understanding if me getting replies out slows.

For those who don’t know, in order to properly study I have to study a MIMINUM of 60 hours a week (Aka either 12 hour days 5 days a week or 10 hours a day 6 days a week), which means I will be doing more than that and at times may accidentally go radio silent on Tumblr.  My plan is to front load the beginning of the week with a bunch of studying and then taper off towards the end of the week so I can sleep in a bit and hopefully be up enough to get replies out once I finish studying. I HIGHLY recommend that you add me on discord (ellabellawinters#6593) and/or temp/perm move threads if you want quicker responses until mid-August.

What this DOES Means:

-        Lower activity from me- I don’t know how I will manage, some weeks I may be more active than others

-        You should talk to me if you have any questions or concerns

-        You should definitely talk to me and rp with me during this time, I will be alone in my apartment in my own mind for weeks on end I would appreciate it honestly

-        I am going to attempt my own version of a thread tracker with a spread sheet bc I am a nerd.

-        I may come talk to you ooc a bit more about threads to keep up my muse or make sure I am not totally brain dead from all that knowledge being shoved into head.

-        I still love all my partners, but my muse just might be picky with how exhausted I am.

-        I am est time and am trying to not be up until 2am unless its an off day the next day. 

-        I am going to try and post/reblogs a lot of opens, memes,  and starter calls, PLEASE if you are interested like, reply, or send something in so I know you’re still interested in rping with me.

 What this does NOT Mean:

-        You are bothering me with replies: rp is something I do to relax and love to do

-        You should not talk to me ooc or send me things because it’s distracting me: you’re not distracting me, and even IF you were I am an adult and those are decisions I make.

-        I am unwilling to take on new / more threads: Absolutely not. I actually highly encourage having multiple threads with me/sending me memes as it helps keep my muse up and allows you to get something from me at one time of another.

In general, I want to try and keep rping because I love it- but I have no idea how the next few weeks will go. I will be posting weekly updates about progress, mind set etc. If I DO go radio silent and your concerned or if you think I didn’t see/forget a thread or just to say HI, PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME! Honestly, you are NEVER a bother to me and I appreciate it!

For those who don’t know, I’ll be switching positions at my job starting next week. Meaning instead of me working vampire hours, I’ll be returning to working during the day like a normal human bean - though I’m not sure what my schedule will be exactly. So moving forward (since I’ll be off/moblie most of Sunday) replies may be either a bit more scattered or I may move to a queue system, if I can ever manage to be disciplined enough to stick to it. 

I will however, more than likely (possibly), be a bit more active on discord thread wise instead - so if we don’t write/talk on there this coming week may be the best time so start doing so. If I don't have you on there feel free to send over your username and I'll get you added. :)

I don’t know quite how to describe how I’ve been feeling the past four to five days?

my roommate’s actions was just the straw that broke my back. i was already stressed with figuring out surgery that’s happening on the 11th. i don’t think i can reschedual until i feel secure about it because i think revisions have a window - on top of the fact that it’s already paid for and set up like

this is a thing i should feel excited about. but instead i’m freaking out and just waiting to crash and burn and be put in a shit spot because i can’t depend on the person around me. i’m not mentally well enough to teach someone older than me how to be an adult. i’m just fucking not. i can’t teach you to pick up after yourself and to take a shower and to do basic things you learn to do as a child and teenager - and this person i’m left depending on when i will have no autonomy. 

and i’ve nosed-dived into an extremely bad depression and anxiety fit. as much as i like escapeism - right now, i can only respond to what i’m feeling in the moment i’m feeling it. i like to get to things in two weeks or less but i don’t know if i can right now. every day surgery gets closer i’m thinking of more and more things that can go wrong.

i honestly want my roommate gone after shooting me in the foot too many times. but i legit have no one else who can help me and i feel trapped. i feel like my romantic relationship is over. the holiday’s make me depressed as is. i just want out of everything. 

and i’m also noticing bad self defenses kicking in. acting on impulse, extreme isolation - it’s been days since i last played with my European friend group which i play with them almost every night and it’s been days. i’m hiding and pushing people away and that’s kicking up pretty violently. i’m too exhausted to have fun and enjoy company.

basically, this is a long psa that i’m doing really, really quite badly right now, and i am freaked out i am this stressed out before going into surgery ( top surgery revision ) and will be out of work again for about three weeks. i’m terrified.

anywho, private life opening up aside - replies are going to be EXTREMELY scattered. like said above, what i feel in the moment of feeling it is what will be posted instead of trying to keep things more even, and that’s totally for my own mental health right now which i’ve got to be a little selfish on and doing what’s best for me. otherwise just nothing is going to come out.

this feeling won’t last forever, and once i’m feeling better i’ll start pumping things out as normal.

just a little psa....

so the first anniversary of my father’s death is in about a week and a half. and the american father’s day holiday is a week or so after that. given that i used this game as a sort of therapeutic comfort thing during and around his final illness last year (sobbing like an infant during All that Remains, ngl), and given that the death of parents/family generally is very tied into my portrayal of this character, i might be only sporadically around on this blog for the next little while..... or i might be here way too much, hard to say. anyway. grief is weird and sucky.
