I think I might be the only person who doesn't care if a 32 y-o man plays a college student. Everything about TV shows is made up and especially a show like OFDO for instance is pure fantasy made visual, so who cares about the ages of the actors. I don't watch BL for the realism.

I get it if people do but uhhhh BL as a whole isn't full of realistic concepts (assassins falling in love! time travel! time loops! a world without homophobia! talking cats! fated mates! animals who become people! a man who lives hundreds of years! a virgin who can hear thoughts! you get my drift) so I'm just not bothered if the college senior has wrinkles. Meh. Who cares. Kiss someone, Earth.

I'm not exactly thrilled about the casting of Johnny Depp as Scrooge in the upcoming adaptation of A Christmas Carol... I'm holding out hope that it will be a good version, but I wish it were starring a different actor. But still, I hope no one will be stupid enough to claim that Depp is "too young" for the role.

The man is 62!

He's probably older than Scrooge is supposed to be in-universe.

He's the sixth oldest actor to play the role on film or TV, surpassed only by Christopher Plummer (88), Jack Palance (79), Michael Hordern (66), Seymour Hicks (64), and Basil Rathbone (also 64). Most Scrooge actors have played the role in their 50s or 40s.

I know how people can be about actors. They have trouble grasping how much time has passed since those actors' most famous roles, especially if the actors are still good looking. I remember people saying that Anne Hathaway was too young at to play Fantine in Les Misérables in 2012 (too young at 30 to play a character who's 25 in the novel?!), or that Lea Salonga should have been cast as Éponine in that same film (a woman in her 40s as a teenage girl whom she played onstage almost 20 years earlier?!), or more recently, that Aaron Tveit was too young to play Sweeney Todd onstage (vocally too light, yes, but too young at 40? I don't think so!).

I hope no one forgets Depp's current age just because their mental image of him is of Edward Scissorhands, Sweeney Todd, or Jack Sparrow.

Realising that you've now older than the actors of the series you grew up watching.

To me it has a stronger effect than birthdays.

Like yes I'm conscious of being in my mid twenties but what do you mean I'm older than Colin Morgan in Merlin Season 1?

Actors who were about the same age as their characters when they played them...

So with Thai military obligations and the spread of birthdays throughout the year I figured this was somewhat fungible. These are my best guesses. 

Captain Chonlathorn as Noh - 16 (not yet a senior high school in Love Sick)

Jimmy Karn as Saifah - 20 (2nd year college student in Why R U?)

Joong Archen as Ming - 18 (1st year college student in 2 Moons 2)

Krist Perawat as Arthit - 21 (3rd year college student in SOTUS)

Ohm Pawat as Frame - 16 (not yet a senior in high school in Make it Right)

Ohm Thitiwat as Dean - 22 (3rd year college student in Until We Meet Again)

Peak Peemapol as Fuse - 17 (not yet a senior in high school in Make it Right)
