I just can’t stay silent about all the situation that is going on with Ji Soo and especially about the response that some are having after he was rightfully so replaced in his role in River Where The Moon Rises! I know that some people were really happy because he finally got a leading role but do these people that are defending him realize the gravity of what he did? He did not “just” made fun of some of his classmates or I don’t know throw someone’s book on the floor he did much much worse. And before you come to me saying that it’s not true, with his “apology” letter he admitted it!!!! As I said before if some of the things he’s accused of were not true then he or his agency would have said something because some accusations are really horrifying...so as disappointing as it could be for his most devoted fans you have to acceptance that’s true. And I noticed that some people who are defending him don’t even know about everything he’s being accused of, some say “it’s just bullying” other that it happened in elementary school.... please educate yourself properly before commenting on a delicate situation like this one and don’t blindly defend your faves.
And please stop saying bad things about the victims, it’s disgusting
+ Update
Ok so I’ve just read that his agency stated this:
“We prioritized figuring out the facts regarding the posts about Ji Soo’s school violence. First of all, we checked with Ji Soo himself, and there were parts that he was aware of himself but also parts that seemed to be exaggerated or distorted, so we worked to take time to confirm the exact facts. However, with concern that further harm could be caused to the victims, and because the actor himself also didn’t want more damage to be caused to the drama through the process of sorting out the truth, we would be thankful if you understand that he took responsibility to apologize as soon as possible without any preconditions. We are revealing that the accusations of sexual violence with coercion, however, are completely false. We earnestly request that one-sided claims about unconfirmed information like this will not be overanalyzed or published into speculative articles.”
With all my respect for his colleagues, I don’t like it when they phrased like he didn’t want to damage the drama, because people, his victims, should have come first.... but if he’s not lying and if really some of the worst accusations are not true, I’m a bit relieved though this doesn’t make it all right in my opinion.
