Shout out to Lon Chaney.

He paved the way for so many actors. Not just with his unprecedented use of make-up, but his use of physicality, facial control, and ability to morph into an entirely new being

Would there be room for a Jim Carrey without him? We might not have our Doug Jones or a Kevin Peter Hall. No Peter Sellers, Boris Karloff. No Javier Botet, no Michael Dorn. Maybe no actors like Gary Oldman, Meryl Streep, Johnny Depp.

Some of my very favorite performances wouldn't have been possible without him. So yeah, hell yes to Lon Chaney
