WooCommerce Point of Sale (POS) V2.4.19 solution that integrates all the features of Woocommerce and could be used by physical stores. The team at Actuality Extensions have built a plugin that once you open the cash register you can select a customer, select products from tiles which can be set as colors or images and then the totals are added up with discounts easily added. That’s not all though as my favorite feature is that for the price of a cheap handheld barcode scanner you can scan your products out at the till just like any other physical store. The plugin itself has a very simple install and can be set up in about ten minutes and that’s if you take your time.
With this Point of Sale plugin (POS) you can add simple or variable products and for the scanning add the barcode to the SKU field in the product setup. Custom products can be added with shipping costs added to a sale by the click of a button. When checking out a customer the discounts can be entered as a number like 25.00 or 5% and the cash register calculates it all for you! What is even more awesome is that you can have multiple outlets. This would be good if you had two or more physical stores where the address would be different on the receipts, you could then set up multiple registers for your business if for example your model was similar to a department store that had a make-up counter and an electronics counter you could load the relevant cash register with the corresponding products. You could of course load all the products onto one cash register if you required but the plugin is so flexible that you can use it for small individual stores with one cash register to extremely large multi address businesses with multiple users.
