Does anyone know if one can to some degree control the repetetive movements caused by catatonia? I can stop them for a few seconds, but then I feel a pit in my gut and this weird feeling in the parts of my body that want to move and it eventually gives and i cant stop again. I try to engage in another activity when i can (sometimes all i can physically do is pace around doing the movements, either mute or repeating meaningless phrases, but lately I've been havig partial episodes where I can speak), but i can only do that activity for a short period of time before the movements act up again. With my full blown episodes, when I have speech issues, even though i cant speak, I'll copy the speech I hear in my head. I have short staring episodes until something (a sound, someone calling my name) breaks me out of it. I'm agitated and panicked too...
