This comic only mentions different hallucinations based on sensory modality (which sense it impacts) but there are other ways to categorise hallucinations such as the theme of the hallucination or the severity of the hallucination
Hallucinations don’t only affect schizospec people and can happen to people without a psychotic disorder or any mental illness/condition
your reminder that the stigma that schizophrenics are violent is bullshit.
it’s more likely for a schizophrenic to fall victim to violent crimes than commit one. we aren’t dangerous, nor are we inherently violent because of our disorder. there is no known strong correlation between schizophrenia and aggression.
Hello! Welcome to the this-is-anti-psychotic blog!
I am mod Lennox (aka Lenn or Mg. Poe), the host of the system running this blog!! I made it Magolor themed because he's my favorite psycho headcanon!
This blog is inspired by all those this-is-anti-something blogs out there, I wanted to make one all about psychosis based discrimination as someone who experiences it very often as a young person.
Any sort of ableism ("narc abuse", "I'm so OCD", "ADHD is a gift 🌼" type stuff included), racism (towards ANY race or ethnicity), and exclusionism is NOT welcome here. This blog is for everyone, those that are blocked have broken the safe-space rule.
This blog is centered around psychosis, psychotic experience, discrimination based on psychosis, hallucinations, and delusions. It is not recommended to interact if that sort of thing is a trigger, discomfort or might push you into an episode/make things worse. However, I cannot stop you, and this is meant to be a safe space, so you are still welcome, just acknowledge the risks.
I'm open to answering questions and concerns about psychosis as well, but I'm not a professional, just your local psychotic.
Mentioned for reach: @psychotic-system-culture-is @psychotic-culture-is @this-is-ableism @schizotypal-culture-is @schizoid-culture-is @schizospec-culture-is
Note: I may use psycho in place of psychotic, I mean it as an easy short for the word and I am in no way trying to demonize, dehumanize, or minimize your experience.

Does anyone else feel really weird after a nap? For a few hours after I wake up from a nap, I feel dizzy and I hallucinate things from the corner of my eyes
I had never watched Inside Out 2 before. I truly wasn't expecting to hear the word delulu in that movie. I'm enraged that it's being said just like any other word in a movie for kids. It's incredibly insulting for all those who truly experience delusions, and other symptoms of mental health issues.
