Sometimes, people wonder who you really are.
They think they know you based on the things you choose to show them.
Like your photos, or your writing, or the way you are when you are with your friends, or your job, or with someone you love.
People will assume they can see right through you, that they know you better than you know yourself.
But you laugh, and think, “how can they?”
Your friend won’t know you as a lover.
A stranger won’t treat you as a sister.
A boss won’t see you as a follower.
Only you know your thoughts.
Only you can know who you truly are.
One of the most satisfying moments in your life will be those few seconds when you're out of breath and inches away from someone whose definition of home is your name.

Sometimes there's a strange moment that overtakes me, a quiet remembrance, a longing from some space in time where I am the darkness and the void.
Keen Malasarte, Darkness.
Kindly remind yourself to be fierce, courageous, and bold. Nothing stops a woman from achieving her goals unless she allows herself.
"I will not pretend to be strong sometimes some days are just lonlier that others, some evenings are just more empty than the last."
His quiet nature was enough to conclude that silence is merely a language- ours. I would translate his soft glances to mean “come closer,” his light touch down the nape of my neck to scream “kiss me, why don’t you?”
