And how Davros says The Doctor turns ordinary people into soldiers, he realizes it’s true. Because The Doctor was an ordinary person turned into a soldier and he did destroy is own planet to stop the Daleks. And Martha was going to follow in his path. A path he created first.

Do you think he saw himself in Martha? And all the things he’s ever done? All the deaths he caused? How, the only other planet he’s ever called home, was going to be destroyed by him, again?

Jordie probably spent his last hours reflecting on how much he failed his little brother-

Rewatching season 4 of better call saul is sooo insane like...Jimmy genuinely spends every single second he's awake thinking about Chuck and he's in hardcore denial obviously but even then he has his slip ups, like when he makes up a story about how someone heroically saves people from a burning building not once but TWICE. He tries to act nonchalant when he reads Chuck's letter but he keeps fidgeting and pausing to make little unnecessary remarks, he's so obvious. He goes back to being slipping Jimmy, steals the hummel figurine, starts his shady cell phone business and this time it's not to help out Kim or to get back at someone, it's for himself. He literally starts doing all of this because he doesn't want to be left alone with his thoughts, because he needs to keep himself busy. When he hears that one of his former clients, the woman from his Sandpiper commercial, has passed away he gets all invested and allows himself to grieve for a woman he barely knew. And in the end right after he declares that he will do what it takes to be worthy of the name McGill, he requests to practice under Saul Goodman. Chuck haunts him throughout the rest of the series but season 4 especially is all about him.
