Ad cards are found in booster packs on unplayable cards like rules tips or on creature tokens or other cards with no need to be included in a deck and therefore no traditional Magic the Gathering card back.

This particular ad card was first seen in booster packs of Zendikar, released on September 26, 2009 and was also found in packs of Alara Premium and Worldwake.

The ad features the illustration from Chandra Ablaze which also premiered in Zendikar.
