The new Arrested Development was something I have somewhat mixed feelings towards BUT. Gob acting out becoming straighter by yelling “I think Billy Eichner is mean!” tickled my funny bone

Tony Wonder is 100% being hunted by this “gay mafia”, right? It explains why he’s been hiding in suitcases and had to make a grand public display at faking his death in the cement.

I kept watching because I was genuinely interested in the plot but I’m just left disappointed. I got used to the fact that it did not make me laugh anymore but this season was particularly bad. It really felt like they were pulling everything out of their ass because they didn't know what else to do with the show and everything got really annoying at some point, like Tobias whole thing, George Michael not telling Michael Fakeblock wasn’t real, Dusty, etc. The whole ruining Blunder was awful, it really was just baiting, and everything resolving out of the blue in the last 3 minutes, damn, I would’ve rather seen them plan it all than what happened before. I still love the characters and stuff, I’m just sad about what they did to the whole series. Probably should’ve seen this coming. 

Also Maeby deserves to be fucking happy and Gob just fucking honest with himself

Now that I know that the flashbacks to the young Bluths this season are from a tv show in-universe that makes Thomas Barbusca as Gob a) funnier b) make a ton of sense actually

Also he was a pretty good Gob he got Will Arnett’s inflections and mannerisms down
