Full Name: Ada Lucy Frankenstein. (Name derived from "Adam" & "Lucifer"; adopted Victoria's surname post-reconciling. Called "love" by Elsa on occasion.)
Voiceclaim: Jinkx Monsoon
Age: 7 years since animation; thinks and looks like a young adult, technically ageless.
Species: "Neo-Vitae" (meaning: "New Life", coined by Victoria.)
Ethnicity & Religion: Created from primarily White people. Undecided religion.
Powers: Superhuman strength, speed, & durability; healing factor (to the point she literally can't die).
Ada is much happier in the current day, now that she's found community and a lover! She is extremely intelligent and often gentle, but can become vindictive if she is pushed too far. She is also blunt to a fault, and socially, not necessarily the best (which is understandable, given what her early life was like), but means well most of the time. While she understands her "mother" means well, Ada can sometimes get restless and want to explore outside the sanctuary neighborhood (when not out in the field, that is!). The one thing that irritates her is being called "Frankenstein's Monster/Creature", she personally finds that moniker very insulting and invalidating.
More character development, now focusing on Ada (Frankenstein's Creature)!
CWs: mentioning of abandonment issues, very mild body horror (stitching), brief discussion of HRT treatment & gender-affirming surgery (last one isn't really needed to be a CW, but it's there just in case!)
As I had mentioned in a pretty early post, Ada is a trans woman! While this isn't really rooted in the original book's plot or any details from it, I wanted to reference how some people read Frankenstein as an inherently queer story (whether it has to do with Victor himself, the Creature, or both!). This was also inspired by some headcanons I've seen around the internet of Creach being LGBT+ somehow. (Sidebar: While Ada has had HRT treatments prior to Ep1, courtesy of Jekyll & Victoria, I will not confirm if she's had gender-affirming surgery or not, since that isn't gonna be relevant in the series anyway.)
While Ada isn't inherently violent or malicious, she will retaliate if pushed too far. And trust me + Victoria, you do not want to get on her bad side. Thankfully, she isn't that difficult to ease back down.
She's extremely intelligent, possibly surpassing even her "mother", Dr. Jekyll, and Van Helsing.
Please, don't call her "Frankenstein's Monster". She finds that moniker particularly insulting.
Her name is, of course, derived from "Adam", as a nod to people in the fandom often referring to her book counterpart with that name! However, she picked it herself in-universe, it wasn't Victoria who named her.
No, she can't pull off body parts and reattach them later. Her leftover stitching scars are fully healed up, and besides, it'd be rather painful if she even tried.
She has some lingering abandonment issues, and deep down, is terrified of being on her own in the world again. Thankfully, she's reassured that won't happen anytime soon.
Mentally and physically, Ada is roughly in her early twenties. She can't physically age, however, due to her unique biology.
