I did the apple core trend with my OCs. :3

I did a shippy one for my partner, who ships these two, as well as an ode to something that happens in the story that's more angsty >3

The rendering on the apple isn't the best, but I'm pretty proud considering I couldn't find a golden apple core to reference. Well, that wasn't like, actually made from metal or something.

You wouldn't think finding a good, yellow apple reference would be that difficult, but alas...

So, I used a Granny Smith.

"The Newbie and the Lifer"

When the boss-man says you gotta show the FNG the ropes so he doesn't die out there on his own, but you end up becoming infamous partners in crime instead.

The character's names are Adam and Dawn and they are both from an original story titled "Artemis Mirror", in which a small, covert army of special individuals are tasked with keeping the thin veil between the human world and worlds full of magic and mythos intact.

There's something so spiritual about getting to draw the blank, numb character you've been preparing for your comic for years with a smile on his face and knowing that he, like you, eventually gets to be happy, safe, and loved.
