idk if this is s/t that you already have tried/do but i think it’s a good idea to have like a select few specific things like a movie or television shows or book or song or album or w/e that is your Official TM distraction from mania (or rather, the bad things you want to do when you are manic) for me personally it kind of trains my mind to know it’s time to Calm Down TM whenever i play or read whatever the thing is.

obviously it’s not a perfect fix and doesn’t always work but just a thought. i’m also bipolar so i def feel you. hope ur ok <3

yeah usually my go-to is parks and rec if i wanna just like....... chill tf out so i’ve been binge watching that and my best friend and my sister will prob keep me in check for the most part lmao. thanks <3
