I have nothing useful to add as i have no children and was fortunately not waitlisted but my cousin goes to Purdue

He’s very excited about Purdue :) He’d actually have a small group of friends going there, and his dorm reminds me of Hogwarts--there are flags in the main hall representing the “houses.” It’s also right next to my old dorm! He’s visited the campus since he was a toddler and has had to listen to his parents tell a lot of stupid old stories about the fountain, the old smokestack, our first really crappy apartments, that time his dad’s apartment/house was set on fire by one of the roommates, etc. etc. etc.
