I am very proud to go to work everyday surrounded by talented and empowered women. They have taught me strength, empathy, and teamwork. Without women shaping me I wouldn’t be the man I am today.

No actually I’m not just going to make a snarky post, I’m going to go on a full rant.

I am so sick of the #adaywithoutwomen campaign and I am so sick of all of my rich privileged feminist friends constantly posting about it.

Like great, maybe you live in a world where it doesn’t matter if you don’t go to work for a day, it doesn’t matter if you piss your boss and coworkers off, it doesn’t matter if you end up without a job.

But for the rest of us?

The idea of going on strike just to prove your worth is not only the stupidest idea these privileged feminists could come up with, it’s also one of the most dangerous because people are, at the very least, going to lose a day of pay and, at the most, are going to lose their damn jobs!

And it’s not like you’re going to actually change anything!

Because if your boss is really that misogynic then you not showing up to work is not going to help your case and is going to lead to you facing severe consequences!

And if your boss is cool then there’s no reason to not show up to work and not doing so will probably piss them off too!

Either way, you’re not going to make any sort of transformative statement and you’re just going to end up looking foolish and potentially jobless.
