Essential Elements For Research
There are many essential elements for a research paper, below are some points along with its description.
- Topic: The main topic or subject of the research.
- Introduction: a brief introduction about the written topic.
- Table of Content: some research papers include a table of content that lists all of the main headings, sub headings, and any other pages that are included in the paper.
- Notes/Plan: This will not be included in the final paper, however it is a draft of what I might want to include in the paper, some ideas, and my initial plan on how to write the paper.
- Conduct research: finding information needed about the suggested topic, and paraphrase it and change it to you-r own words and understanding.
- Trusted sources: Including information from trusted sources and websites.
- Sample of work: adding quotes, pictures or any other sample of work that would help in the process of writing the research paper.
- SMART: which stands for, Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time.
- In-text referencing: adding in-text referencing of materials and text that were taken from other sources.
- Reference list: a list of all the materials that were taken from the internet or from a book or any other sources.
