Lovely illustration of a lady in a red ballgown by @egoartist, sent in for the 'Ballgowninator' game on my submissions page. I envy your skill at illustrating satin! So lustrous ...

[Edit: according to the tags on ego's post of this art, it is actually velvet. My bad.]

This is technically the exact opposite of how 'Ballgowninator' is intended to be played (people are meant to send in pictures or descriptions of people, for whom I then design a ballgown, rather than sending in a picture of a ballgown for which I add facial details to the person wearing it), which made it an interesting creative challenge. Here's what I came up with:

[Picture taken with my phone, which greyed out the lady's complexion, so I recoloured her skin digitally.]

I also tried my hand, pun intended, at painting her with nail polish after seeing the illustration posted with the tag 'nail art'.
