Okay I’ve gotten like eight asks and I ignored them cause there was a ‘gotcha’ tone (and dudes why are you following me still?) about Bakugou in reguards to Amity. But it keeps happening.

So here it is:

Comparing Bakugou Katsuki (an egotistical asshole who has been praised his whole life and who threw a fit about being offered a hand up by Izuku) to Amity Blight (an abused child who was threatened with the well being of her best friend) is bullshit. There is no equality in this statement and to attempt to make one is shit.

I’m not saying Amity is in the right and I’m not ignoring what she did. But let me tell you: despite it being rushed her redemption arc was ten times as good as Bakugou’s ever has been. I actually felt FOR her and her issues where with Bakugou I don’t give a fuck.

Amity is an abused child who has been terrified to hurt others because her parents hold all the power over her up to her own mother being able to project her thoughts into Amity’s head which is ACTUALLY TERRIFYING. Bakugou is just an asshole who gets what he wants and doesn’t care about others.

So yes: I like Amity. I do think her redemption was rushed but it was still good. I’d have prefered her and Willow to pitch things up before Amity dated Luz but that is just one drop in the bucket.

Bakugou? No.
