Addis is helping me discover the wonder of men's pecs and by extension is also helping Teirsym discover this

ALSO i've been delaying this post bc i was conflicted about posting it but: Teirsym is in a polycule post campaign because i've realized i'm pan and there's a really hot man in Teirsym's campaign that i snagged for her because i love her

his name is addis. he's an ancient gold dragon. that's right. teirsym has two ancient dragon partners. (your bard could never)

so!! yeah. Teirsym's storyline revolved around being gay but i needed a storyline about staking your flag in an identity and shouting until you're blue in the face that this is your identity and then sheepishly having to admit you were mistaken and moving your flag, which i think is very powerful.

teirsym's queerness was still punished, and i think there's some powerful narratives in there about how one half of her was punished and so she dug in her heels and said "no, the half of me you hate is all there is." and then learning that it's alright that there's these two halves to herself and that both halves deserve love and attention, and that it's right and good and ok to explore these sides of herself.

it makes me, a pan and poly person, very happy in my heart place.

so all this is to say that shrek au 3 and 4 will feature addis in a romantic role, because he's a big doofus and i love him
