so basically i was overthinking that one official art where spamton has fangs and analyzed his dentition and tied it into my addison biology stuff

Personal Addisons are Addisons who belong to a single person or company seperate from Addison Corps themselves, and either advertise for the company they're owned by or don't advertise at all.

Their status is given away by the color of their pants. While normal Addisons have the bright green of Addison Corps, Personal Addisons wear whatever color scheme applies to the business or person they are owned by.

Personalizing an Addison involves taking a normal Addison and recoding them to be docile and touchstarved, usually used as a punishment for anyone trying to stand up against the system.

Any Addison can be personalized, and it's used as a threat.

There are three types of personal Addisons: Rebranded, Obligers, and Recreational.

Rebranded Addisons are owned by businesses, they simply advertise for that business and wear the business's colors.

Obligers are like servants.

And Recreationals are like pets (think BBU).

REVAMPED ADDISON BIOLOGY PART 1!!

- around 6’6”

- ears and olfactory system (smell) are inside their noses! - sort of avian, share a common ancestor with swatchlings

- their feathers/fur glow! they’re covered with it, with the thickest areas including their head, chest, joints, and back. their bellies, limbs, palms, and face have soft skin similar in texture to silicone or those soft nightlights. addisons eat light as energy and emit it naturally

- fiber optic glowing whiskers, for further flashiness to attract customers and to navigate/sense

- 2 visible toes, 4 in total, other 2 toes are in a ”skin sock” and can’t move

- parent addisons manes grow extra long and glowy so chicks can cling on easily and consume more light efficiently!

- pupils are shaped to work in areas with lots of different light levels (like bright neon lights in a dark cyber city), like cuttlefish!

- their eyes can detect the hex codes of colors

ADDISONS INTERNAL EXOSKELETON (or shell) keeps their vitals safe! it’s the texture of very hard plastic in harder areas like kneecaps, elbows, and their chest, and softer plastic in their bellies and fingers. they are not like animal skeletons, they have organs outside AND inside them!

NOTE: hair on their head and whiskers are rooted into their shell/scalp, but not shown for reference.

- addisons are partially robotic, they live off food and light/energy/money. their vitals include organs and robotic parts.

- they can survive with just a shell without fur and skin, since their vitals are kept safe inside their shells

- ball jointed, hinged jaws, and sunken eyes

- pudgy tummies! keeps all their organs safe

- they have 4 toes, but the other two are not visible and vestigial, like human tailbones. this is from their avian ancestors

spamton pre bigshot era, around 4’6”

- a runt, short and white due to neglect as a chick. addisons get their colors from imprinting on parents, for example if an addison chick is raised by a red and blue parent, they will be purple! but he didn’t have parents spend enough time around him to imprint, causing him to grow up without getting much color. he is short from not getting enough money/light as food when he was a chick. (more about life cycles and behaviors in the next part)

- all his vitals are inside his shell, so he can survive the acid bath. shells are VERY durable

- his weird proportions are because when he was dunked in acid feet first, his lower body shrunk faster than his upper body, and his head stayed about the same size. his feet are proportionally the smallest part of him.

- he can still make expressions like with his lips, eyebrows, and other facial muscles because he has a really thin layer of silicone like skin left behind, since his head was under the acid for the shortest amount of time. this is how he still has expressions and isn’t just hard plastic!

- addisons can regrow skin and fur but only if they’re healthy and not stressed. sadly, spamton is neither, and his injuries are very severe.

- he has more whiskers than the average addison. stressed/unhealthy addisons grow extra whiskers to help them try to navigate and survive better if they’re struggling

- he can’t glow anymore due to the acid damage

- the red spots on all addisons cheeks are social display signals, much like how humans smile or laugh or hug eachother to be happy! since addisons are generally smiling all the time, this is how they show their true happiness to fellow addisons. these spots are on their shells and when they make the spots show up, they turn the fur above it transparent. but spamtons spots are permanently on, resulting in the addison equivalent of a very creepy manic staring smile.

some additions to the addison headcanons! tldr addison chicks get their food from their parents glowy light, an addison needs addisons parents light to grow properly although they won’t be sick, and a clutch of pipis (up to 5 but usually smaller) needs to get incubated at home or taken to work in a pouch

Do parent addisons have a way to recognise their chicks once they become adults? I Imagine it to be similar to like how baby zebras can always recognise their mothers by her stripes

yep!! addisons have reeeaaally color sensitive eyes, combine that with cybernetics and they can detect the exact hex code of another addisons fluff. that works as a sort of fingerprint, since it’s really rare for two addisons to have the EXACT same color code. so it works like a recognition system! the parent addisons would definitely remember their chicks color code and vice versa.

the other cyberians have no clue how they do it and still call two “” extremely different “” shades of pink similar, to the shock of the addisons
