SamSteve Brotp shenanigans and SamBucky OTP shenanigans

So I read a post with the perfect line “Sam Wilson is about to be bribed into keeping silence and to aid and abet any and all shenanigans.”  which made me want to write about Sam and Steve’s unappreciated bromance with bonus SamBucky Please Consider: - When Bucky first meets Sam Wilson Steve is trying to have his friend make a good impression on his mom (friend) so it’s all “Look!  Sam’s the best!! He works at the VA and has a house and a job and is an adult ™

- “Yes good” Bucky thinks, because 90% of his friendship with Steve is trying to be Steve’s impulse control before ultimately jumping right along on the crazy train  “Here is another Adult and Ally against Steve’s craziness.  Perhaps with two of us we can finally succeed in slowing him down” which is a good thing because Bucky is a tired Panda man and he needs his rest

- Also maybe projecting because he sees Sam’s beautiful smile and then Sam cooks him breakfast!?!? He is so far out of his league and he definitely has his life together and probably like… irons his underwear or whatever real adults do

- Ha!  Sam’s veneer of adulthood is working as always

- Sam is a complex man of many talents who will cook a full continental for his friends and then turn around and subsist solely on pop tarts and chocolate milk

- Who will go to his steady day job and then abandon it all to steal his wings back from a high security facility and then go to save the world

- Bucky falls for it by making the mistake of willfully ignoring how crazy he himself must be to be Steve’s friend, and by transitional property there is approximately 0% chance of Sam not being a crazy

- Not only is Sam not on the “keep steve under control brigade” but he is an aider and abeter of shenanigans.  You know that one haikyuu pic where you expect combined power to be like 10 + 10 = 20 but in actually it’s like 10 X 10 = 100

- “Hey Sam, I’m gonna jump off this building in the middle of battle and then you’ll catch me and I’ll smack my shield into that bad guys face”

- They kind of bond over a mutual tendency to look out for other people even though neither of them are as put together as they tend to be.

- Bucky moves from “oh no he’s hot and out of my league” to “oh no he nearly brained himself on the coffee table trying to use his feet to push the controller out of steve’s hands while playing mario cart and is somehow still out of my league”

Important Cassian and Bodhi Headcanon

I think that a lot of people make the mistake of thinking that Cassian is better equipped to handle sadness and stress than Bodhi people think he's going to be better at being happy. What I mean is this: we are shown a very specific set of circumstances in the movie. Most of it is a high stress dangerous situation and Bodhi's life as a civilian and then eventual cargo pilot do not equip him for this. But I don't think it's necessarily Bodhi's natural state to be stressed. Meanwhile we have Cassian "child soldier" Andor who has spent his whole life in a war zone and is trained to deal with this and is accordingly very, very good at compartmentalizing. But Cassians problem is: who is he without the war? Cassian has never had to live as a civilian which means he's got no basis for normal to go back to. I think as soon as he is out of immediate danger, all those issues are going to break down that carefully constructed damn and flood. Cassian has no way to deal with those issues because they've never been as important as the war and that is going I be a really hard attitude to deal with in the face of recovery My point isn't that Bodhi is going to have a super easy path to recovery I mean his whole support system is dead but I think that people make the mistake of seeing how cassian and bodhi react in this specific scenario as the basis for their personalities when for bodhi at least it's definitely an outlier and for cassian the fact that he's adapted so well to it is really telling

Teen Titans Episode 1 Liveblog

- Jinx using “you fight like a boy” as an insult - Robin waving the bad guys to come at him super confident like and Immediately getting decimated and falling into a sewer. - Raven showing absolutely no emotion at this - Raven healing BB yes cute let me get that cute BBRae content right out the gate - Still bet we are not seeing this power ever again but I guess that’s what you get with vaguely define magic powers - Gizmo’s G rated swears - Robin’s dramatic entrance like this is definitely Batman’s boy with a different aesthetic - “Like I said, this isn’t over” yeah Robin but then you fell into a sewer - Can I just mention that either Jynx, Gizmo, and Mammoth are all nerds or maybe Hayep is just really good at making their villainy curriculum engaging - Forgot how much I looked up to Raven
